I would argue that this station is actually a little off center of Newton Centre hah. If you're driving here you need to take this awkward one way turn down Union Street. I have had the misfortune of being forced to get off here abruptly from the abridged/express service to Riverside for the MBTA's frequent schedule adjustments. Why couldn't it just be one more stop at Newton Highlands so I could walk the remainder?
Unlike some of the other above ground stops this one does not have an indoor Charlie Card kiosk where you can take shelter from the elements. Also as it is within the center of town there are no dedicated parking spots for this location. If you're lucky in the morning during rush hour times you might find a seat, but more likely than not they're all taken.
