Great Clips — Local services in Newtown Township

I normally don’t have any issues with this place, but today was a flagrant lack of due care. Haircuts require us to take time out of our day, I lament having to drag myself to a salon but at least when I’m done and have a good result it tells me I did something that makes feel me better and that it wasn’t wasted effort. Today I just got the worst haircut ever from this place. If I get the same woman again, I’m immediately walking out. The stylist was only focused on the fact that her shift was over and gave me the ol’ end of shift “you’re my last customer today, gotta get out here” rushed service. And that’s the thing, I’m a guy and I was getting a short cut which is something that is quick and hard to mess up. The key to a short hair cut is consistent length and proportion. Her hair clippers tool stopped working in the middle and hence she had to use scissors on my other side because she didn’t want to bother resolving it. The end result was stupid, my right side and left side of my head have different unevenness and thickness. Despite the fact that Great Clips keeps your last haircut style in the system, she decided to go against that and only focus on the back of my head and not the front just to cut her work time shorter. “Oh you don’t you need to cut that part.” I made the effort to come here, yeah I do need to cut that part! I decide what is cut and as mentioned a short haircut is consistent all over. Now I’ve got long bangs in my front and a short back, and there’s no blending . She fully sprayed my head with water and didn’t do much. So I had to go to another place afterwards and wasted more money. I am really disappointed with my recent haircut at the Newtown, PA location. A few years ago you could get a pretty good haircut here but that is definitely not the case anymore. I told the stylist what I wanted and she disagreed and insisted on cutting my hair in a different way. I wanted it shorter and a different style. The cut was rough and uneven. I then asked her to blend the top in with the sides. I mentioned this a few times and she didn't do it. She didn't ask about my sideburns and never trimmed them. I probably could have cut my own hair at home in the mirror and have better results.. In fact I had to go home and fix the many mistakes made by the stylist. I had a similar experience with another stylist at this same location a few months ago so this seems to be a service, quality, and lack of experience issue. They are charging 22 dollars now for a haircut at Great Clips.. I can go to a barbershop nearby and pay a few dollars more for a...

This is the worst place I have ever been to. I called in advance to see if we could make an appointment for my son's haircut. They told me to just come in, never mentioned that I could book my spot on line. We end up waiting for 40 minutes. As soon as we got there one of the hairdressers could not spell his name (Matthew) end up putting him in as Matt B., where our last name starts with K. A lot of confusion therefore. I explained how we want his hair done. Very easy: just short in the back and on the sides and longer on the top. She took everything off and now my 10 year old doesn't want to go to school on Tuesday since he is embarrassed and thinks that everyone would laugh at him. I think she did it purposely. She was very rough as she was cutting his hair, he said it hurt. Stay away from skinny blond in her fifties. She said her daughter got engaged yesterday and now she had to get a lot of beer.
