Village at Newtown — Local services in Newtown Township

We enjoyed an excellent dinner here last night for our Anniversary at Harvest. Guy was our server and we could not have been anymore pleased. My husband enjoys mostly all types of food while I’m vegetarian. Guy was an excellent help with the menu, suggestions, & impeccable service. This restaurant is a new, bustling, hot spot. Arrive early for your reservations & enjoy any of their amazing drinks from a huge, noteworthy variety. Everyone at the bar is attentive & happy to have you join the upscale vibe & atmosphere. From start to finish, the entire staff were welcoming & fun. Our hostess even came by to check on us & educate us on the menu history. This could be a five-star location given its current size, geography, landscaping, and selection of stores -- and I'm saying this as someone that doesn't give five-star reviews as a matter of principle unless something is truly astonishing. The reason it isn't getting five stars is down to two things -- the geography and landscaping are lovely but the roads and parking lots are laid out horribly. Also it somehow simultaneously unaccommodating to anyone walking/biking around it.

This place is great but it's sprawling. It needs clearer signage, it needs better walkways between major sections, and perhaps even to have the roads fundamentally redrawn.

This is not a shopping mall or retail outlet shopping center, I don’t know why it’s labeled that. It’s a shopping center with a supermarket, and a lot of great restaurants or food eateries if you want to eat. But honestly it is getting very conjested with cars here thinking it’s some outlet center, it is not. We have wonderful, quaint shops in Newtown. But it’s kind of expensive, we have Great restaurants, but it’s getting over crowded with all the new building, soon they will need a parking garage. And that Starbucks drive thru is the worst traffic jam, I can’t believe so many people are buying coffee drinks...
