Chapter Book Lounge — Local services in Noblesville

I was traveling out of state from California and was so excited to visit Chapter Book Lounge to enjoy some coffee and explore the shop. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The website and Google both stated that the store was open, but I wanted to confirm, and there was no phone number listed anywhere to reach them. I ended up driving over an hour to get there, only to find the doors locked. What made it worse was seeing two ladies inside who just looked at me strangely when I tried opening the door. They didn’t bother to come out, explain they were closed, or offer any clarification. Instead, they just ignored me, which felt very rude. To make matters even more frustrating, there were no hours posted on the door, leaving me completely confused. I love the concept of this. The drinks were phenomenal. The bartenders were lovely. The room for activities were minimal, but that's to be expected while it's new and booming (and on a Friday night). Where I deduct points though is the unfortunate, borderline-abysmal selection of books. The shelves were filled with current fads. The sheer amount of SJM/Romantasy books were unreasonable. I get that's what might be selling, but it shows me this is not a place catered to bibliophiles. The Sci-fi section was laughable. The Fiction section was meh. I loved that there is a Banned Book section, but it was bare (which might have just been the day I was there).
