On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to stop by Uptown Cafe in Noblesville for breakfast. I sat at the counter and was immediately greeted and asked for a drink order. I ordered a coffee as I looked over the menu. I'm not big on eggs at a restaurant, as most places can't seem to season or cook them correctly. I chanced it here and went with the eggs Florentine and a cinnamon roll. The coffee was better than average and was hot but not scaldingly hot. This is huge because some places serve it so hot you can't drink it until you're done with your meal. The eggs were phenomenal, being poached perfectly to my liking and seasoned appropriately for the dish. I prefer a slightly runny yolk but with a nearly-cooked center and they delivered. The spinach, tomato, muffin, and hollandaise were spot on. It was all very cohesive and worked well together. After finishing the eggs, I moved to the cinnamon roll. I can't believe a cafe can make a roll better than some of the local bakeries, but they did. No part of it was dry and chalky nor was it oversaturated and soggy. It was all very spongy and perfectly cooked. The frosting was delicious as well. Overall, probably one of my new favorite breakfast spots. Service was great and food was great. I'd gladly pay $13 again for the same experience. I highly recommend stopping in if you are nearby and looking for some delicious eggs for breakfast.

Some mornings just hit different—and this one started with pancakes and well-done hashbrowns that were so good, I considered ordering a second round just to make sure they were real 😋. My wife went with the biscuits and gravy, plus a couple of eggs, and judging by the happy silence across the table, I’d say they nailed it. The coffee was exactly what you want it to be: smooth, strong, and magically bottomless. I don’t know how they did it, but the bottom of my cup never saw the light of day. The service was quick, friendly, and felt genuinely welcoming—like they were happy we showed up, not just checking boxes to get a nice tip. We loved the historic charm of the café—it’s got that timeless feel that makes you want to linger a little longer. And the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Noblesville Square. Whether you’re strolling through town or just craving a solid breakfast, this place fits the bill. They’re open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, and there’s even a bakery tucked inside. So yes, you can grab a pastry for the road and pretend you’re just being “practical.” Uptown Café isn’t just a meal—it’s a moment. And we’ll definitely be back for another.

What a fantastic eatery! A hidden gem in the small town of noblesville. Its located on the corner of 8th & Conner Street across from Hamilton County Historical Building. Parking is on either side of Conner Street. We have eaten here countless times over the years and have never had a poor meal or experience. There can sometimes be a wait depending on the time that you arrive, we have only waited once. They have both booths (seat 4) and small tables (seat 2) and then they have the self seating bar stools, that look over one cooking station and the checking area. This would be somewhere I would go as a small group 4 or less, as the space is not that large. I have seen them pull up chairs though to try to make it work. I recommend it all! The cinnamon toast is yummy, the hash browns are always cooked to perfection, and the bacon and pancakes have always been delish. My guest ordered the french melt and loved that as well. Good Luck! Highly Recommend.

Was intown celebrating my best friend's birthday on Saturday July 26. Her and her husband had visited previously and have always enjoyed the breakfast here. Food was good, service was good, enjoying mimosa's. Everything was going well until it wasn't. Time to pay and the credit card machine was down. I totally understand things happen when you least expect it. When things go awry to keep a returning customer is to make things right, which the owner decided not to do. We were held hostage for 30 minutes because the CC machine wasn't working and our bill was $200 which I never carry that much cash with me. I asked the owner personally if he would provide a complimentary mimosa to my friend celebrating her birthday that is now held hostage till the machine came back up and he wouldn't even consider it. Again, we had already spent $200 including tip already. I guess he wanted us to spend more $$ in addition to what we already spent and comp nothing for the inconvenience. We won't be back! And my friend that lives there will not support or offer anymore FREE word of mouth...
