The Wild Bohemian Boutique — Local services in Noblesville

I saw this store as I was passing through downtown nobelsville, and was intrigued by the name so I decided to stop in and see what was inside. To my extreme disappointed the store was absolute garbage. I want to start off with saying that I think the owner of this establishment has it all wrong, Gypsy is not a fashion trend or a wanderlust vagrant that you can aspire to be. Gypsy is a SLUR used to discriminate and put down the Romani people and our culture. I found this to be highly insensitive to be capitolizing off of a stereotype of a people group. Also nothing found within the store was related to real Romani culture instead it was cheap and looked like the ordinary basic festival girl stuff you could easily find at Walmart or target. Nothing within the store was original or related to romani culture. Also as horrid as the little merchandise they did have the majority of the store was empty and seemed like they don’t get a lot of business. I’m obsessed with all the pieces I purchase at Wild Bohemian. They all become staples in my wardrobe. The owner and her staff are the kindest. They don’t smother you when you walk in, but always greet you with a smile and are ready to help if you need it. They are also very active on social media and do try ons of the new arrivals, so they can share the fit of each piece and make size recommendations. Allison and all the staff does a wonderful job at welcoming you in and really feel like you’re hanging out with your friend in your closet. I love how they get me out of my comfort zone in trying on new clothes that I always end up loving. The whole shopping experience leaves me with the biggest smile on my face!
