Ashiana Banquet Halls — Restaurant in Norcross

There are 3 banquet hall in the main floor. We rented one of the halls on last Saturday (08/12/2023) night from 7:30 PM to 2 AM Sunday morning. After we arrived at the hall with 120 guests around 8:20 PM the electricity went off in all 3 halls. Power wasn't out from GA power. It was because of the hall's faulty electrical. It turned into a dangerous condition with elderly people. The bathroom was dark and alternate system was not in place. I paid the hall owner advance a good amount of money as rent on 8/09/2023. The power was out for one and half hour. We tried to call and ask for help to get the power back. But the hall owner gave us false hope that he was working on restoring power. He first tried with 2 of his working servers to work on the electric panel. They couldn't do anything. After about hour and 15 minutes the hall owner arrived at the hall with an engineer with him. Finally he was able to restore power after one and half hour.

We lost money on DJ we hired for the whole time. Some of our guests left as the room temperature increased and feeling uncomfortable. It was an embarrassing situation for us. We missed some of the events we planned with projector. We rented this hall to hold those events. I was surprised to discover that there was no generator to support in that kind of situation. There were more than 350 people in 3 halls on Saturday night. The hall owner doesn't have a generator in case power outage - is it not a code violation? What can I say, Ricky and his team were great right from the beginning. We discussed ideas of our Menu which was very elaborate with 11 Appetizers, a good spread of main course items and desserts (Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Indo-Southern etc.).

We had 3 rounds of tastings as he wanted us to be comfortable with the taste, to suit our pallets, our guest palletes, and plating etc.

He provided input on menu item compatibility from his experience, which made us drop some of our initial items and add some of his suggestions. Loved his proactive recommendations.

The day off, he surprised the Bride & Groom with beautiful LED serving tables. It was WOW 👌

3-days before the Reception, we requested for Live Paan station. He ordered paan's for tasting from a local vendor that we like as they were not available.

Ricky's team made better Paans than our regular Paan vendor. It was such "Super Hit". All the guests enjoyed it, it was almost like the exclamation point of the great night as the guests went home with such a great happy feeling 🥰.

The presentation, quality and variety was nothing short of exceptional. They were also able to work with the venue effortlessly without us having to be concerned with any of the communication between them during the days of the wedding events themselves.

We wanted to work with them after a wedding we had attended in Aug 2021 had been catered by them - again the guests were blown away at our wedding as well.

Over the course of 5 big events and daily breakfast in the hospitality room, they provided a wide variety of dishes, including different types of Indian, Italian, Indochinese, and so many appetizer items. Not only was the food diverse, but it was always served hot and fresh with perfect spice levels.

Despite being a destination wedding, they delivered for every single event. They went above and beyond by providing snacks and anything else needed for the hospitality room as well.

The feedback from the guests was overwhelmingly positive, with everyone raving about the delicious food throughout the entire weekend.
