This place has amazing furniture!! But the experience was horrible. The experience made me want to not spend my money there!! I felt I was discriminated against coming in as a young black female. Granted I wasn’t in the fanciest clothes....... but I’m in the process of moving!!!!!!!!! Firstly, I wasn’t greeted or welcome into the store, but I was fine with that. After going back and fourth between 2 couches I finally found the perfect couch for me. It was a $10,000 couch!! You would think someone was interested in getting that sale! They clearly were not. I waited for someone to come over and helped me. I waited so long I got the measurements of the wall I wanted to put in on, I figured out exactly how I wanted to position the chair, and I which pieces I was going to separate. All the sales reps (4 different reps) were at the desk doing nothing. I would look over and they would look away. So finally I called over for help, as that looked like the only way I was going to be able to get some, but was told they would be with me momentarily. By this time they did have a customer at the register and 2 of the other reps had walked away, but someone should have came over to help me!! Why couldn’t the guy who was clearly doing nothing on the computer help me? Or why couldn’t they ask one of the sales reps that had disappeared to come over and help? I set there and waited, but it was just absolutely ridiculous. I just left the store. I took pictures of it, so I’ll find someone who wants my money to cross...

I PURCHASED A BEDROOM SET FROM THEM LATE JUNE, A BED AND TWO NIGHTSTANDS, WHICH TOTALED TO ABOUT $2,900. 3 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY, I CONTACTED THEM BECAUSE IT DIDNT LOOK THE SAME IN MY BEDROOM AS IT DID PREVIOUSLY WHEN I SAW IT IN THE SHOWROOM. I SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER AND TOLD HIM MY PLAN, WHICH CONSISTED OF ME SWITCHING THE BEDROOM SET OUT WITH ANOTHER AND PAYING WHATEVER THE DIFFERENCE WAS. I WAS THEN INFORMED THAT I WAS ONE DAY LATE ACCORDING TO THE RETURN POLICY AND THWY IF I WANTED TO DO THIS I WOULD HAVE TO PAY A REDELIVERY FEE OF $200 AS WELL AS A 33% RESTOCK FEE AND THEY WOULD ONLY OFFER ME A $1,200 STORE CREDIT. AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, THEY WOULDNT WORK WITH ME ALTHOUGH THE BEDROOM SET THAT I WANTED TO SWITCH IT OUT FOR WAS DOUBLE THE PRICE. NOT ONLY THAT THE RETURN POLICY THAT WAS PRINTED ON MY RECEIPT STATED THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED A RESTOCK FEE OF 25% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE AND THE MANAGER I SPOKE WITH RESPONDED TO THAT BY SAYING “OH THE OLD POLICY MUST HAVE PRINTED OUT FOR SOME REASON IT IS NOW 33%.” CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I WAS NOT TRYING TO GET A REFUND, I JUST WANTED TO CHANGE THE PRODUCT THAT I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED AND I WAS GOING TO END UP SPENDING EVEN MORE MONEY ANYWAYS. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ITALIA FURNITURE TO ANYONE AND I WILL NEVER PUT ANYMORE MONEY INTO THIS BUSINESS. PLEASE FIND A BETTER WAY TO HANDLE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS....
Read moreMy family and I have bought multiple pieces of furniture from this establishment. We have placed multiple orders with them and every time our order has been delayed. Months delayed. The most recent order was placed end of July 2021 and at the time, our sales representative gave us an order eta of September 2021-October 2021. In September 2021-October 2021, no one has reached out to me so I made a call to them for them to tell me, the eta has always been December 2021. In December 2021 I called them again for them to tell me the eta changed to January of 2022. I have waited this long already for my furniture so I decided to wait the extra month. Once again. I called back today for them to tell me the eta changed AGAIN to March 2022. I am beyond upset and disappointed with this establishment. The most they would ever do or say to resolve any issue or offer any reimbursement is to say “If you would like to cancel your order, you can”. No sympathy for the customer and the wait time for their furniture less home due to an establishments miscommunication. I waited this long so I would not like to cancel my order. That would be a complete waste of my waiting time. The issue here is poor customer service and communication.
