Short story: unprofessional, bad massage, shady as it looks

Long story: I am no stranger to Asian massage places. I have been to several in many cities. I usually go to one in Moore but I was looking for something closer to home.

I had the one hour body massage.

The masseuse speaks almost no English, not unusual for an Asian massage place though but just want to make note of it.

The massage rooms have windows into them from the hallway. There are curtains but this is still creepy and uncomfortable.

She charged me before she started the massage which is the only reason I even stayed the full hour since I wanted to leave after five minutes. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why they charge first to be honest.

She did not leave the room for me to undress and stared at me while I was doing so. I finally conveyed I wanted her to leave which she did but did not close the door.

The privacy sheet meant nothing to her, she discarded it. This is the point where I wanted to leave. I have never clenched my legs tighter together. Again I am no stranger to Asian massage places or massages in general, this is not normal practice. This was extremely uncomfortable and I just kept thinking about the fact my rear was facing that window to the hallway.

Still, I thought maybe the massage would be worth it. Benefit of the doubt right? Nope. Her hands were dry and rough, she mostly just slapped my body with some kneading thrown in. Her fingers came way too close to areas they shouldn’t be anywhere close to. I have an injured finger and she ignored that fact and took off the tape I had on it though I told her not to. I thought maybe the foot massage would be at least something redeemable but even that was awful. The cream she used burned my face. She yanked my ponytail off and hurt my hair.

When it was over she left and closed the door while I dressed and that’s the only thing that went right.

Save yourself money and time, do not go here. There are Asian massage places that are professional and do give...

I was a little nervous after one of the reviews but am so glad I went. The massage tech spoke very little English but we did not have trouble communicating my needs and she delivered exactly what I was wanting. She was super kind and skilled and never once did I regret coming in. I have had many massages all over the world and this is one of the best massages I have ever received....various techniques were used and I left feeling refreshed and impressed with both the design of the studio to the performance of the massage tech. I paid and tipped when i was done. Prices were clearly broken down and extremely fair. There are curtains in the room to block the windows I assume were part of the spaces prior use... I didn't find them creepy or weird and overall felt after my visit the prior review that gave poor feedback was mostly exaggerated and petty. I will be returning to this location for local massages in the future. I highly recommend the hot stones but even without that extra service I was super impressed with the skill and friendliness of this massage parlor staff.
