Galaxy Home Recreation is hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The customer service is absolutely horrible, the staff is clueless, and they have no business selling anything to anyone.
I went in mid-March to order 2 Adirondack chairs, 2 ottomans, a side table, and a chaise lounger. I spent an hour and a half in the store while the guy repeatedly messed up a simple order. After all that time, I thought we finally had it right. Nope.
Three weeks later, I get a call that my stuff is ready—but instead of going to the Norman store like I asked, they shipped it 35 miles away to their Memorial location. I drive all the way there, and of course, the order is completely wrong. I got 2 chairs, 3 chaise loungers, no table, and 2 ottomans in the wrong color. What a joke.
I took what I could and went back to the Norman store to fix their mess. They admitted the order was entered wrong and told me Bruce (Store Manager) would call my wife within 24 hours. He did, but not within 24 hours. And to top it off, the chaise we brought home was the wrong one—no wheels, which we specifically ordered.
I went back again and talked to Bruce myself. He finally admitted they screwed up the order and sent it to the wrong store. When I asked how he was going to make it right, he offered to reorder it and “put a rush on it.” I asked for a refund for the hassle and extra driving—they said no. He even expected me to bring the wrong chaise back when I came to pick up the corrected order. Are you kidding me?
Only after I threatened a credit card chargeback did he suddenly “call his boss” and offer to deliver the correct items and take the wrong one away. That was April 1st.
It’s now a month later and guess what? Still don’t have my full order. The only thing I’ve gotten since then is the side table—which I had to pick up myself.
This place is a complete disaster. They don’t care, they don’t take responsibility, and they sure don’t value customers. Never shopping here again and I would give them zero stars...
   Read moreEdit: The after the sale service is not great. We paid May 3rd and were told an estimated delivery around Memorial Day. We were told we would be contacted about scheduling. No one reached out at all. After contacting the store again I was told we were scheduled for June 19th. Not asked, just told. We finally received a text from Customer Care June 12th. NO WHERE DOES IT MENTION NEEDING A WHIP!! Just says to have electric installed beforehand. We had already had the electric installed at that point because we thought it would be close to Memorial Day. It mentioned that they don't recommend a certain breaker. THAT SHOULD BE MENTIONED AT TIME OF PURCHASE! I asked a couple of times in the te t what we needed done and again, never mentions the whip. Day of delivery i give them my husband's information since he will be at home for delivery. They don't contact him, they still contact me. That's fine. I let him know. When they arrive he's then told they won't hook it up due to no whip!! Why wasn't this mentioned at time of purchase or in the text on the 12th!! They also brought the wrong size cover so they could not finish setting it up. By the way, the 19th is my husband's birthday so he was again let down by the company due to lack of communication. I don't know if I would recommend them after all of this.

   Read moreOn Monday, I was finally able to stop be this store and look into purchasing a swingset for my grandson. Angela assisted me and we went out and looked at their selection. My daughter in law was able to bring my grandson by and play on them. We bought agreed on one and I made the purchase. A few hours later, my daughter in law called me and said she had been showing my son the one I bought today but that the one showing on the website were different than the one that was tagged and I purchased. There were a few different features. She said she called Angela but she had said there was nothing she could do. So I called the store and spoke with Angela. She said if wanted the 2 differences, that it would cost $1400 more dollars. I asked her if I could speak to her supervisor. About an hour later, he called. Mr. Calvin was very nice but explained that he was sorry it was missmarked outside but that he was already taking a loss on my sale as what I paid did not include a wooden roof. That price is usually an extra $1100. He did however, move up our delivery date to help ease the hit of it being a bit different.
