Speeding Bullet Comics — Local services in Norman

Today my friend Robert Henry and I were invited to do a signing for our comic. This is definitely not the first time I've been in Speeding Bullets though. I was a regular patron when I was an OU student 20 years ago! What's great about the store that Matt has created is that it is genuinely a comic store, in the way that comic stores were back many years ago. Yes they have a great selection of new comics that are proudly displayed in the front of the store, but throughout the store are so many treasures that you could visit many times and never go through it all. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a great time. But if you're looking for a real comic store with people who know the business and has a great selection, just like many years ago, this store will give you an experience that few other comic stores will. This was my first visit and I love Speeding Bullet Comics. I was browsing just looking to see what the store stocked. The manager asked if I needed help then proceeded to show me how the store was arranged for ease of browsing. Keep in mind, this is not a large shop, however I was super impressed by the variety of popular and lesser known titles they offer. I ended up purchasing titles that I needed in my collection that I had not been able to find since the tragic loss of Hastings! Excellent selection of graphic novels make this a one-stop-shop for your comic book needs. If they don't have something, they might be able to get it for you. The rare collectibles seem to be matching Ebay pricing which is fine for me. Anyway I setup a pull here for the first time since I was a kid before Planet Comics was shut down. I see the owner of the store almost every time I visit which has been significantly less due to the pandemic.
