Best donuts in Oklahoma that I've found. The blueberry, the apple fritter, and the sour cream are my favorites (I'm not a huge icing on top fan... it's just too much for me) but I do know the icing covered ones are really good too. And the specialty ones are usually really good too...I loved the strawberry shortcake one that had fresh strawberries and a cream cheese custard. Even the plain glazed are good. Donuts have become an important part of traveling for me. Wherever I am, finding good donuts is a high priority. Three foreign countries and I don't know how many states. I took my first bite of a chocolate cream and knew this place was gonna be great. Went twice in four days. Standouts were the chocolate cream and the strawberry cake. Their cake donuts are insanely moist. The same girl was working the counter both mornings and was super friendly.

Overall, this is probably one of the 5 best donut shops in the world for me. Already looking forward to my next visit in...

If you want the best yeast or cake donuts ever you need to stop in to the Gourmet Donut Shop on 518 Porter Ave Norman Ok. You will not be disappointed trust me. There are a lot of donut shops in Norman but you wont find a better donut because they use the best ingredients money can buy and they are always FRESH!!

Note the glazed are awesome and if you like a little maple coating get some of those. Don't forget to get a few dozen glazed donut holes to go. (they wont make it home!!)
