HTeaO - Norman (Porter & Robinson) — Restaurant in Norman

On Jan 4, 2025, I took my children to HTeaO in Norman . We had a very poor customer service experience. The floor in front of half of the machines was sticky from a spill that had dried. I went to the desk to let the employee know. She must have heard me telling my children to avoid that area due to stickiness as she was filling a mop bucket behind the counter. She said she was aware of the floor as someone had spilled their drink earlier. I asked if I could have a cup of water so that I could clean/wipe the bottom of my shoes, which were sticky. Instead of being met with good customer service she replied with "Yes, but it will be .99 cents for a cup of water." I thought she was joking so I asked if she was serious and she confirmed that it would cost me $1 to get a cup of water to clean my shoes.

Sticky floors happen and I am fine with having to clean my shoes but being told that I have to pay for a cup of water to clean my shoes is...

Stopped by the HTeaO in Norman around 7pm and really enjoyed the experience. The location is clean, inviting, and has so many tea flavors to choose from. The staff were kind and attentive, which made the visit even better.

I usually stick with my go-to Ginger Peach Sweet Tea, but I decided to try something new—and wow, the Blueberry Green Sweet Tea was amazing! It’s my new favorite. The boys found flavors they loved too, and I ended up getting a large plus a gallon to take home. Also the Gallon options were VERY SLIM to None though.

Only downside: the lemons and limes weren’t restocked when we got there, and they close at 9:05pm during the summertime (now). I had to ask the staff to refill them, which they did, but it would’ve been nice if it was already set.

I'm addicted to this chain tea store! It's great that you can sample as many as you like in-store. You are sure to find a flavor you like. They have seasonal flavors, as well. You can add fresh fruit like lemons, limes, strawberries and more. Some of those are extra but I think lemons, limes, and oranges were complimentary. They have a half off happy hour so check the store for those times. And if you get the app you get a free tea! Also, if you need a snack they have a variety of chips, trail mix, beef jerky, and granola bars. Its a great places to get an iced tea. Move over McAlister's deli there's a new...
