Kim's Nail Salon — Local services in Norristown

I went to Kim's for a full acrylic set, eye brow and lip wax. The man doing my nails was very nice. When he got finished he asked what polish I wanted, gel or regular. I chose gel, picked my color and asked how much. He talked to the lady in they're language then said to me $70. I didn't say anything but thought $70 , plus a tip, was a bit much for a full set, eye brow & lip wax and gel polish. At most a full acrylic set is $25 , eye brow and lip wax $10 each....so $45 would have been reasonable. Where they got $70 from is beyond me. I should have questioned it but they probably wouldn't have changed they're mind. I am a little curious to go back to see what they will charge for a refill. Just an FYI: if you go here get a price before getting your nails done so you're not...

I went here for the very last time. I tried to keep going because they are rarely busy but now I see why!! Sloppy work. They do not paint the whole nail. I got a pedicure and my toe nails are extremely uneven. Refill on my nails was sloppy. They knick you with the electric tools. And then they rush, rush, rush. Even though there is no one waiting to be served for a long time. Then do not paint the entire nail!! So annoying because they sure want the entire bill paid for their sloppy lazy rushed services! And they have roaches. One kept crawling on their nail pictures they have posted up behind the work counter. I immediately wanted to run out the door. So bad....

I had a wonderful experience at Kim's Nail Salon! Chris and Julie (husband and wife team) are both friendly, professional and pay great attention to detail! I walked in for manicure/pedicure and was taken right away by Julie who was very kind. She paid great attention to the problem areas on my feet, which I never had another nail specialist focus on in such depth. Since moving here, I have visited many different nail salons and this was by far the greatest job performed! Not only were the grooming of the nails great, but the paint job was the sleekest, best job I've had! I will definitely be returning and recommending them to my friends. Thank you...
