Very disappointed this last time I was there. They had a certain family size box of cereal on sale, there was one box left on shelf, banged up, flap had also been ripped and taped up. I asked one of the men in the back if there were any more there. He told me no. I then asked about getting the box cheaper since it wasn't perfect. He told me I had to go to customer service for that. Before I went to check out I did just that! The woman looked up the price then called a male manager over whom said he had to take the box away for it to be repriced in the morning. I told him he didn't understand that there were no more on the shelf and I wanted it. He said I had to pay full price and he couldn't garentee that I could get it in morning when repriced. So I then asked for a rain check in which he replied to me NO they don't do that. What was the big deal of him giving a discount on a damaged box when they have a section in the back for those type of items! I wouldn't be so mad if I could have had another box, But come on a box smashed with ripped lid flap and they can't discount it then?? Really?? No rain check either?? Really disappointed with that male manager who wouldn't even give me a rain check.! BAD...

First, about a month and a half ago, when I bought a package of ground beef that had dye on it, after opening the meat tray when I got home, the top was red and the bottom was green! I went back to the store and the product was exchanged but I noticed that they added dye and the second package was not green but had a different color than the top part of the product. And in addition, last Saturday, 01/06/24, my wife was at the store to buy cold cuts and when asking that the product, which in this case was salami, should be sliced thinly. The attendant was extremely rude and informed that the slicer should not take the product that was sliced and after much insistence from my wife, the attendant sliced it thicker. And I found it disrespectful because I normally buy salami there and I've noticed that with some specific employees we encounter resistance to the way the product should be sliced. And other servers, especially if they are American, slice without any problem! I believe that this sector should receive special attention from its manager! that customer service is becoming...
Read moreI've been shopping ar market basket, My entire life. But there is a big difference from store to store going to have to say goodbye to North Andover Market Basket . It has too many issues. I ordered a pound of chicken breast last night. But the young lady who waited on me, didn't speak English. So when i received the lemon chicken i was charged for London broil. $3 more per pound. It was definitely a big language barrier. At this particular Market Basket, their orange juice is watered down their produce substandard. The parking lot is full of carriages. Everywhere, especially in the handicapped area ridiculous. My advice is a beautiful Market Basket in Salem New Hampshire. Right after the Ford dealership, you will be nothing but happy. If you shop there guess what? Everybody speaks English. It's definitely a breath of fresh air.. And they have freshly squeezed orange juice. That is orange from top to bottom. Unlike North Andover where it's been diluted...
