Five Star Experience from the moment I arrived ! I headed to Charlie's after my neighbor suggested I give them a try, as she has some relatives who always have a good experience there. I had dozen configurations of veggies and flowers in mind, not to mention needing a flat of jalapeno peppers for my neighbor (which I thought they would definitely be out of.) Good listener Matt stayed with me the whole time - helped me pull everything I needed together, often calling on another of the crew there to ask if something was in stock, hiding in a corner somewhere and then he with his two colleagues, covering my car seats and trunk contents with plastic sheets (have never had anyone do that for before !) and carefully pack my car for the trip back home. They even stayed :30 minutes after close as we made sure I had everything I needed for my projects. While I didn't get the the bok choy I was after, I got so much more from the exchange - how very good my trip to North Arlington was. Highly...

I always try to support local businesses but I’m really dismayed with the service I received.

I requested they drill a hole in the Christmas tree to be able to place it in the stand.

Not only did they not want to do it because the tools are locked up. (This is literally your business), but when they did, he did a lousy job and the tree is tilted to the side.

I mean a little leaning can always be expected because you can’t always make a perfectly straight hole.

But this was just pure carelessness.

Now I have a stupid looking tree leaning against my wall a week before Christmas.

I guess next year I’ll just go back to driving an hour away to get things done right. I get it, it’s a pain to do extra work, but just say no instead of ruining an experience. Perhaps, don’t sell Christmas items, if you’ll be a grumpy grinch.

Won’t be back for any type of trees or gardening...

Charlie's Nursey Garden center This place is the best Garden Center I've ever been to because the employees are amazing especially Joe and Nick they are great people and they will take their time to help anybody who needs help. They have beautiful plants, pots, pansies, tulips, they also have basil and tomatoes cucumbers and everything else that you need. It almost feels like home. there's such a warmth and filled with happiness when you go into the place. so check out this place trust me you'll be glad you did. you wouldn't...
