Garrett is super knowledgeable and insightful. I brought in my dirty, neglected, and outdated rig with expectations of a high price tag to fix it.
I originally asked about cosmetic upgrades and cable management and then listened to his advice on drivers and software updates. After he educated me on why it may be running slow he suggested a diagnostic for $45 and then a tune up for $95. He said longer fixes may be double that if labor hours continue (unexpected issues etc) I agreed expecting him to be able to fix my ugly pc in 3-4 days.
Lo and behold, I received a call ONE DAY after dropping off my PC. Garrett was able to completely update all drivers, diagnose conflicting programs and allow them to work together, rewrite ALL my cables, and add more programs to make the machine run better and rgb programs. I also left his shop with a duster and monitor cleaning kit for sub $100 price total.
Long story short, I got more than what I even thought I wanted in the first place and paid less than any technician I’ve ever used for my IT issues. Not to mention his turnaround time was only one day after I requested it be ready asap. Will be back for any further upgrades....
   Read moreI had a great customer experience with the team at Joe's Computer Service. Owner - Mark Jones went above and beyond expectations. These guys fix PC's but I had a problem with my refrigerator's main control board causing it not to cool. A service call by a local appliance repair company determined it was the main control board and that the replacement part was no longer manufactured. I was told to buy a new fridge but due to Covid supply chain issues we were looking at a November delivery for similar new side by side model. After doing a little more research, there were 2 common failures on this main control board. I dropped into Joe's Computer Service on a Friday afternoon and owner Mark Jones heard my conversation with his service technician. Mark came to speak with me and said if I would leave the circuit board, he would work on it and have it ready for me on Saturday morning. Mark called me at 9:45 am Saturday morning and said the board was ready to be picked up as promised and as estimated.    Read moreMy computer is not even two years old. Microsoft forced an update and it crashed in the middle of the update saying something couldn't be repaired and needed to be reset. My dad and I (both of us are pretty tech savvy) did everything we could think of to fix the issue. We even tried to reset the entire system and go back to factory settings and the system wouldn't allow the reset. I had everything backed up on a external hard drive so I wasn't worried about losing my documents, but again the computer isn't even two years old yet and I wasn't ready to give up on it. I took it to Joe's this morning and Garrett took great care of it bringing it back to life and it's faster than before,!
Highly, Highly recommend Joe's for all your computer needs and I will be going back for any upgrades my computer needs.
