Rarely open when I stop there (so far 6 times out of the last 10, all during their posted business hours). Two times, a guy working has locked the door and pulled the metal shutters as I walked up to the door while doing everything to avoid eye contact. These aren't closures at consistent times either (sometimes early afternoons for an hour or so, and today at 4:15, it is closed until noon tomorrow). I understand the staff shortages, but I know reliable people who have applied for a job at Gamestop and never heard back.
I wouldn't mention any of this or even mind a flexible schedule if the current staff were nice. I've been coming to this Gamestop for years and spent quite a bit of money here, and over the last few months, I've received attitude from several of the male employees while making purchases, not even asking questions. All I'm trying to do is give them my money in exchange for a product (I'm not trying to haggle, nor am I hassling them in any way - I'm overly polite - at this point, regrettably polite). Nasty little men, some of them. And quite obviously unreliable. I think they shut down because they don't like their customers and realize closing at random times is a good way to exert power and control. I know that there are bad customers, but if an employee thinks all customers are bad, can not discern between the good or bad, and then attempts to get even by adopting a nasty attitude toward everyone who comes in, then maybe retail isn't for that employee.
The Gamestop employees who used to work at this location were so nice. I miss them. Needed to add that. Now, however, you should put this place out of its misery. It wouldn't be much of a loss to Gamestop's bottom line; they don't appear to be open very often anyway. I know that after today, I won't shop at this location or bother stopping by ever again.

Read moreI went to game stop for a warranty issue with a remote controller for my Ps5. In North Brunswick New Jersey. The associate they help me Geoffrey was pretty nice & cool. He help me out I got the controllers but there was another one that he suggested. It was a $5 dollar difference in price. When he scanned the product the price came up to be the same price as the controller I was buying. I said I wanted it he had a team lead in the store they denied me of that purchase. He told me there was an error in the system and he cannot honor the price. I’ve been with GameStop company for years. And I spent a lot of money with this establishment to be denied as something it was rightfully so. His team lead told me that he cannot honor it and also told me it was that price for a reason. Even know the system scanned the controller for the other price. That’s actually a breach in policy in law. That was a real bias intent for you to deny me of that purchase because of my color. I am also a store manager that used to run stores and if a customer seen the price we honor that. His team lead look like he was looking down on me like I was less than. Even know that the controller rang up for that price. I know my rights and I’m a fair person. In all retrospect that was wrong. He did a right to refuse to honoring the price and told me it was an error. In the court law that’s considered a lawsuit! I’m very upset on how I was treated I would’ve filled the interaction and post it on GameStop website. I no longer want to support and spend my money with someone that thinks I’m less...
Read moreSo today is (March 22,2019) Usually I have a great experience whenever I walk into this GameStop location. Today was VERY much different as the man behind the counter was incredibly rude. I would tell you his name but he did not have a company name badge on. He was tsll, glasses with short hair. I was pretty caught off guard and schooled by the attitude I was receiving. As I was making my purchase I asked him his opinion on the game The Division 2 and he replied with a very ignorant attitude as well as some Concerning body language..I also asked him about the Jmgame Rage 2 as I had interest in buying it if it was a good game and once again he replied with an even more ignorant attitude basically speaking to me in a condesending manner because I did not know that Rage 2 doesn’t come out until May, I don’t work at GameStop so I am not aware of all of the game releases. I have spend very, VERY good money at Ganestop but needless to say, I will now be taking my business elsewhere. It’s ashame because I have an Xbox one and my son has an Xbox one as well, we also have a ps4 which broke but I was planning on buying a new this weekend, as I spoke to a nice, helpful Gsmestop worker about it last week, but now, as I said I will be taking my business elsewhere. I am a respectful shopper and I go out of my way to treat workers nicely and like I said I am shocked by the way I...
