It was our first time in HR at New Brunswick. We were in town and was craving for Mediterranean food so we stopped by here and it wowed us from the time we entered in here. Lots of veggie and vegan option for restricted diet option people. We went for falafel bowl and it’s full of lots of colorful veggies and sauces. I am experimental with my spicy sauces and they mean it when they say spicy sauce. It was hitting just right on my spicy tastebuds. Ambience was impeccable. Service was very attentive and spot on. All in all it’s a good very good value for money. We also had mango lemonade and that was the first for me to try. It was a unique experience. Kids had hummus and pita chips and they very very crispy and fresh. Please note all hummus are freshly made at this place, you can see and taste that for yourself while you here. I was fortunate enough to meet owner there (Sahil Mayur) very nice and down to earth guy. Gave lot of good recommendations on items to try in my bowl. All In all must visit place when you around here.

Banging!! The food was official tissue.. it's like a Mediterranean chipotle. I was a little intimidated by the vast variety of options. So I opted to build my own bowl and take a tour of the ingredients. I got da warm garbanzo beans wit couscous and farmers mix topped with tzatziki, zesty feta, roasted eggplant hummus, chicken schwarma, cabbage, olives, parsley, tomatoes, more feta and red onions. For starters it was a beautiful blend and high Im the spice end, which I loved. The flavors were plentiful and in abundance for sure. Now for the milkshake, this was my first time trying a vegan milkshake and that thang SLAPPED! It tasted like chocolate milk, somewhat on the slimmer end compared to the super thick milkshakes I'm accustomed too, but no complaints here. Nice chic set up and they had drake blaring in the background so it was def a vibe. Glad I stumbled across this gem. I'll totally be returning and suggesting this spot to others for sure.

PROs - food taste mostly good , ambience , price , parking and seating CONs - felafel could be more crispy and fresh I rarely give 5 stars .. ⭐️ this place deserves it . Have a 4 star on food , because I felt the felafels could be more crispy and hot . They were a bit dry and felt not fresh . Even with this , I would want to give a 5 star overall ..they also had some free felafel offer .. Very nice location and I loved the ambience overall. Lots of place to sit and dine, both inside and outside .. I liked the outdoor seating arrangement . Lighting and ambience was good inside . Service was good . I lied all varieties of hummus . We tried 3-4 varieties and it tasted good . Nice and quick service . Parking was good . Tesla chargers available close by . A very good experience overall …

We come to Hummus Republic often since it first opened in North Brunswick a couple of years back. Always loved their food. I feel the person serving us makes an equal impact to the food. The person serving us was rushing us through the process. Just because there was another family standing behind us. She was rude. We kept telling her to make my bowl first and then my husbands as I am a vegetarian… she insisted she wants to make them together. We requested her 3 times; to that she tells us rudely there are other people waiting. I don’t think I would like to eat at a place where they do not respect the person standing in front of them. My husband was upset and was ready to walk out.. then the other lady helped us patiently. We asked for her name- she did not give the right name… Rachel, Melissa etc. We were here on Sunday July 20 at 1:13 pm. Who ever is the owner here… if u don’t have patient, friendly smiling faces … u will loose customers for sure. And now with cava just next to this place… request u to look into...

Healthy and convenient food can be found here at Hummus Republic! Located at the Shoppes of North Brunswick is a delicious and modern way of enjoying fresh Mediterranean food.

What really stood out to me is how many vegan and gluten free options they have, and everything is halal, meaning you come here with everyone.

Customize your pitas, bowls, and wraps to your liking with plenty of tender meat, fresh veggies, and delicious spreads like hummus and tzatziki! I loved the gyro which I loaded with tons of vegetables and two kinds of spreads!

And with a name like Hummus Republic, you know the hummus is going to be reliable!

With so many options to customize, create, and build your own meal, you are going to love it here. The staff will take care of you - it’s very efficient here. And the ambiance was modern and clean with lots of spacious seating. Dine in, take out, or delivery - regardless of how you order, you will be guaranteed freshness...
