Passing through this quaint town on our road trip to DC and noticed the lovely decorations of the chocolate place. Of course we love chocolate and got a variety to try. Our favorite is the orange peel and the second favorite is the coconut clusters. The mint chocolate was too sweet. The lady at the shop is also very sweet!

Stopped here recently for a quick peek- and boy was I glad we did! Bought The Missus (bless 'er) a box of milk chocolate raspberry jellies to ease the disappointment of Lilac Chocolatier in NYC changing their receipe. These were a lovely replacement and another good reason for us to make a return trip to North East.

It is a tiny and cozy chocolate house with a variety of chocolates. The owner was very kind and explained to us well enough to understand how to choose chocolates. I had difficulty deciding what to have, as they were all yummy! If you are passing by this small old village, it is a must-stop to check.

We went into just take a look at the place. It occurred was we live right down the street and we've never been in to really give it a chance. My boyfriend was elated when he saw the giant Jelly Belly beans outside of the shop and that was what got us inside. He was amazed by the variety and amount of options there were and we were immediately greeted by someone that work there. She was friendly and knew exactly what was where and how much it cost. It was really crowded! We finally settled on getting the Bean Boozled game and left. Overall, it was an awkward experience and I think that was due to the fact that I kept flip-flopping on whether or not I wanted to purchase the Bean Boozled game and the representatives really stopped caring at that point because there were so many other customers in the store. It's a really small space! And when there's that many people in there it really does make a difference in the experience, what you see,...

I absolutely adore this little store! It is by all accounts absolutely amazing! The chocolate is very high quality, delicious, and the staff is always very friendly. They have a lot of novelty candy as well such as Harry Potter Candy, Pez, and a great variety of impossible to find vintage candy brands that many of us remember from our childhoods.

When I have friends or family visit I always make a point to take them to North East Chocolates and they never disappoint! They have chocolate for every mood, taste, and even sugar free.

The ONLY reason I'd give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is not wheelchair accessible in any way. So unfortunately if we decide to go as a family, one on the kids in our family who uses a wheelchair...

Such a cute shop and it has always been “must” on my trips to Northeast with my granddaughter. However, this past visit soured my enthusiasm. The clerk was obviously irritated by our request to purchase a mix of jelly belly jelly beans. (Although they offer it!) We purchased over $10 of mixed beans but it just seemed to be a hassle. Eye rolling and impatient sighs. The clerk told my granddaughter she had to speak up, although I was repeating the order and no one else was in the shop. She could clearly hear our requests! My granddaughter wanted more but stopped without getting what she wanted because she felt rushed and intimidated. We left and she said she never wants to go back there. Sad, because the shop was always a...
