Food Lion — Local services in North East

The prices are a little higher in some things and alot higher on other things but other than that, I really like it. It's clean, organized, usually everything is well stocked and the selection is pretty good in most things. There are some things I can't find here that I have to get at Walmart and some things Walmart doesn't have in stock or sell at all that I can find at Food Lion. Some self checkout machines would be nice (Weis had them back in the early 2000's). However,you don't usually ever have to wait in line long as they seem to always have an adequate amount of registers open and if lines get long they open other registers as they seem to be well staffed. Unlike Walmart,where you can only go through self checkout if you're using a card (for about the past year, maybe year and a half) and they only open about 3 other lanes. This is by far the worst food lion i’ve ever step foot into. The employees are downright ghetto and it’s like they hire ex drug addicts off the streets. There is ZERO self checkout which is so insane in this day and age. probably since they’re not making much sales because of the flock of homeless people they have outside of their store that steal every night and day. Food Lion is paramount. Their prices are spot on to 90s proces, so Hell yeah! I went there cuz last time I was at the beach, I was lacking for funds and checked out the Food Lion. No I will tell you with a absolute certainty, Food Lion equals value. Have you ever found creamy Mac and cheese shells with the pre mixed cheese for 2 for 3?????!!!!!! It tastes like Velveeta but better and far cheaper. If you focus on the store brand, you will collect a bargain, hands down, no exceptions. I literally drove an hour to go there for the values.
