I've waited to post a review solely because I wasn't sure if I'd try to come back. I've decided I won't. And yes, this is going to be long. But it's also going to be detailed of my frustrations (WITH dates) This is 1 of the worst and most disorganized facilities I've ever been too. I came here wanting to get an ADHD diagnosis and then meds. I had my 1st appt July 2nd. More of a consult. I don't remember the doctor's name honestly, it's been so long. But after giving the doctor a brief list of symptoms of my ADHD, she said "nope, sounds like depression and anxiety". After pushing for it, she did schedule me for a TOVA test...but more on that soon. After the 1st appt, she put me on anxiety meds. I took them for weeks. Up until recently when I ran out of my prescription and don't have a refill available. I had a follow-up with her July 16th, after being on my meds for 2 weeks, still no difference in my anxiety. Finally she agreed to schedule me for a TOVA test. I had to wait for them to call me as they were going through my insurance. Which is fine, I'm used to waiting on doctors. It took weeks to hear anything. Anytime I called, it was the same thing "we're still waiting to hear back from your insurance". Finally, I got a call from them and got scheduled for the test September 20th. I went into the office expecting things to be fine, but nope. The front desk didn't know why I was there. She just kept saying "well, I wasn't the one that called you". Okay? Well someone DID. She then said that my insurance denied paying for my test WEEKS previous to being scheduled. Meaning I waited 2 months for nothing, basically. I ended up paying out of pocket (which was 100+$) I took the test. Had the follow-up of the test results October 8th. She said the results were "somewhat" leaning towards my having ADHD. But she wanted to keep me on my anxiety meds and follow-up in a few weeks to see how the anxiety meds were working before we tried any ADHD meds. That was the last appt I had here. They never called to make a follow-up appt. Every time I went into this facility, there was someone new being trained, so I'm assuming there's a fairly high turnover rate, can't imagine why. The only upside to going here is they have a fabulous coffee spot right next to them. Otherwise, not worth it. This was my experience. I can't say if you'll have the same. But I was thoroughly disappointed. I had my voice continuously ignored solely because of the doctors' bias. Good luck to anyone who tries to step...
Read moreAVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! I applied for the Medical Biller position via indeed.com and went to their facility for an interview earlier this evening, however the doctor that interviewed me was rude, disrespectful, and even went so far as to accuse me of lying about my work experiences. Why would I lie about my medical knowledge of ICD 9 and 10 codes, CPT codes, and HCPCS codes?? Or my knowledge of EOB(explanation of benefits), EOC(Explanation of coverage), COB(Coordination of Benefits) Why would I lie about working insurances and handling benefits, claims, and authorization for companies such as CVS Caremark, Express Scripts, and Humana through call centers such as Alorica, Broadpath, and Everise? Why would I lie especially when I presented a physical copy of my resume? I have no reason to lie about my experiences especially when I'm currently pursuing my Bachelors degree in psychology and I'm trying to get into my field. She didn't even give me the chance to tell her that i have done Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare/Medicaid dual plans, and Commercial Medical and Rx plans. She even ridiculed me about using public transportation and even ask why I can't take Uber. Newsflash Uber cost money. It accumulates. I was so hurt that I stood outside in the rain waiting for my bus ride home and cried. I cried like a baby. I applied for this position to get one foot into my career path. I don't want to settle for less. Based on her attitude it let's me know that this company is a huge red flag and she's the reason a new medical biller is needed. If she's treating her employees like dirt, I could only imagine how she treats her patients. I'm really considering taking legal action against them for...
Read moreFrom rude office staff to a psychiatrist that doesn't seem to want to actually evaluate anything but push medications quickly this place is horrible. Multiple times has the nurse practitioner been late to the zoom meeting (up to 45 minutes) but also doesn't consider peoples lives, just take this questionnaire and based on your results I prescribe you this ... click click click. One time I had run out of meds before the next visit, the nurse practitioner told me I could just call the office and have them give me an extension for some more till we had an app again. When I called though and told The staff the situation they told me no, then said hold on and then the staff left me on hold for 35 minutes, then someone answered I said 3 words and they interrupted me to say, "oh wait, hold on." Then sent me to voicemail. Most RUDE thing I have ever had happened to me in a customer service situation none the less one that was dealing with mental health.
After going to this place for months not being billed I had asked them multiple times throughout my visits about why I am not being billed, was told by staff that, " if I'm not being billed then insurance is covering it". Well no, my insurance was not covering it. I personally reached out to the office side of things to figure this out, a week later they got back to me by email saying I have a 1300 dollar bill!!! And I cannot book another appointment until it is taken care of!!!
Most disorganized place I've been too and if I wasn't dealing with a mental health issue before, this place made sure I was dealing...
