El Nopal Mexican Grill - Decatur — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I just want to share with you the bad experience I had this morning 05-03-2025 at the El Nopal Mexican Grill restaurant, which is located at 3231 N. Decatur Blvd Ste 101, Las Vegas Nevada 89130, be very careful when ordering food to go, you receive your food inside the restaurant, because if your food is poorly prepared and you return to the restaurant to change it, you will run into a rude, despotic and arrogant man, this morning I ordered two burritos and one was poorly prepared and I spoke to the restaurant with a woman and asked her if she could change it for me, to which she replied that she would change it for me, but when I arrived at the restaurant I met this man who told me, if I wanted another burrito you have to pay for it again, but I said how am I going to pay you again if I already paid for my food, I also told him the girl and she told me if she would change it for me, but him did not want to change it, hi kicked me out of the restaurant, she returned my money, but she only gave me $11, and I paid $12.50 for the burrito. In short, he stole a dollar and fifty cents from me. Maybe he needed that money more, so I want you all to be careful when you go to eat at that restaurant. I thought that man was going to hit me. Food was fresh and delicious. The staff here was excellent. Very friendly and it was evident that they take pride in their restaurant because the salsa station and soda station were immaculate and orderly. Their fridges for the canned and bottled beverages, etc. were fully and neatly stocked. The establishment was clean and well kept in general. The food was prepared accurately to order, presented well and was brought out immediately. They handled the late morning breakfast/lunch rush very well, we noticed several students coming in for their lunch break among other customers. All orders were filled quickly and we were pretty impressed. It was nice to have a quick meal at a sit down place without the usual wait. I usually don’t write reviews… But I have to say this is the best Mexican food I have ever had… To be specific the best chili relleno…… I ordered the combo… The refried beans were excellent… I love that the rice had a little bit of veggie in it… As well as the Chili relleno having peppers on top of it….. this dish went above and beyond. I usually treat myself to a higher price restaurant once a month….. I saw their prices were reasonable and I just couldn’t afford a higher priced one this month…… and this is a five star restaurant at an extremely fair price…… I have never had Mexican food cooked this well….
