Circle K — Local services in North Lauderdale

This store was great when it first opened up. It’s so big and had so many selections. They even put the other gas stations out of business but it deteriorated quickly. Their frozen drinks are ALWAYS out of order (no sign), your lucky if one or two flavors are working. A majority of the time there is no hot food even though their “made-to-go” advertisements are posted everywhere and they won’t make it for you if you ask. The hot dog toppings taste old and most of the time they are completely out. Fountain drinks are usually out or mostly seltzer. My main reason for this review is the store has recently been closing for long periods of time. This store is supposed to be open 24 hrs yet it will close for hours at a time. Usually between 10pm and 6am door is locked anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours. The woman working just shakes her head and says no when you knock on the door. I have worked at a convenience store in the past and if for any reason the door needed to be locked it was never longer than 5 minutes. Extremely poor customer service . I work down the street from this location so I stop here often lots of my co-worker stop here also. This afternoon I stop to get a few drinks to bring back to work so I walk up to there frozen version of slurpees and noticed the machine is dripping liquid and only one is actually on and spinning, so I go over to the counter just to mention that something might be wrong with the machine . So I tell The employee (Daniela )excuse but your machine might be broken she turns around and tells me with a attitude " yeah it's broken and ?"" This is flat out disgusting. I filed a complaint with OSHA. Florida Health Dept, and company HR. No matter how much I inform them about the food safety concerns they were ignored. So if you get sick after eating anything from Circle K. I advise you to seek legal and medical assistance. The sad part is that the managers still fill shelves with expired of molded products.
