This was my second, and last time coming here. The nail tech herself was kind, however, I did not have a great experience overall. I got a gel mani/pedi. By the time I made it out to my car, I noticed that my nails were not smooth at all. There were bubbles and ridges throughout each of my nails. When I returned, they disregarded me and slapped another top coat on it, which did not fix the problem. By that time, the manager/owner came over and said "I don't see anything wrong with it, but OK"! She started working on my nails, and ignored me and my questions. By this time, I pointed out her rudeness (which she tried to flip and say that I was the one being rude), only then did she explain how she was gonna fix the problem (which told me that she did notice the issue initially when she said she didn't). I ultimately got the issue fixed, but I will no longer be giving them my hard earned money!
Reply: (1) The FIRST thing that I said was that the nail tech was KIND! So you obviously missed that part. I complimented her myself, and still tipped her. (2) What you heard was me humming to the music in my ear...weird that you thought it was anything more! (3) You may do whatever you'd like, but be sure you post the WHOLE story so fellow customers don't leave feeling how I felt. How you replied says it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been coming here for over a year now and I usually get great service!! As in no chipping, they don't hurt me, and they even gave out cuticle oil for a Christmas gift last year! This is the first problem I've had and I'm only saying something to warn against a SPECIFIC nail tech.
I went in today and had a younger lady who seemed new. She asked the gentleman who had longer hair to get my nail polish (gel) for me. When I saw her painting my nails I told her I thought it looked darker than what I had picked out. I looked at the bottle and couldn't see the number on it but she said the man had told her it was the same color. At this point she is almost done with my nails and the nails definitely look darker than the color I chose (I initially thought "ok, he said its the same so maybe it'll look different when she's done") when I ask why she didn't use the one I had chosen. The man had told her not to. That tells me he must be a manager or have more knowledge. She did ask if I wanted them redone. I don't blame her as she's probably new. I chose to just pay, tip, and leave as I had somewhere to be but told her and the man that I would like to have the color I chose next time.
Use any other tech there EXCEPT the young man with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOlder lady performed a shellac in my nails. She put several layers of color on my mail. It began to peel before I made it home. Also you didnāt go the end of my nail with the polish... it didnāt look like Iāve gone to get a new nail polish. I went back the next day and the lady pretend she didnāt speak english. Very unprofessional. I then asked for & spoke to the manager who didnāt want to help at first by ignoring my conversation with the lady tech, but eventually ended up repairing my nails, so I thought. He remove the polish & painted nails to my cuticles. Before I went to bed that night the polish on my thumbs begin to peel off again, my thumb nail on the opposite hand split & my cuticles began to itch. So now I have a bad mail job and cuticles that are inflamed and itch. The manicure was done the night before by the non speaking English tech. I immediately began to disinfect my hands. Itās has been over 5 years since my nails felt this way which is the reason I stop getting false nails and went to shellac over my nails. I will never visit this place again. The work is low quality, tech unprofessional and I now have to go to another salon to repair. They have my money but never...
