I am changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Below is my initial complaint about a horrible customer service experience. I am happy to say that after contacting Windsor customer service the company went ABOVE AND BEYOND to turn our negative experience into a positive one. I was not expecting any response from Windsor, however, not only did they respond they took this opportunity to prove that my one experience with one employee is not indicative of the company as a whole. It was clear to me that a positive customer service experience is important to them and that this is a company that takes criticism constructively, so as to prevent such situations from happening again. In addition, my Mom was contacted directly. She received an apology and was treated in a respectful and kind manner as Windsor worked to correct the issue at hand.
I think that a company’s real test is when they can take a complaint and turn it in to a positive experience for those involved. Windsor passed this test with flying colors. I encourage people to contact customer service if they ever end up in a situation as unfortunate as the one I was a part of and give them the opportunity to make it right. I have decided to give Windsor another chance and I hope my future shopping experiences are better from beginning to end.
I was just at Windsor with my mother less than an hour ago. She bought my sister a dress for prom which was never worn as my sister did not get to attend the prom. We realized that we may not get store credit let alone a refund, however, what we did not expect was the atrocious customer service we received from the Assistant Manager Aethea. As my Mom explained the situation Aethea listened and proceeded to look at the dress. As she looked at the dress she found a tear in the seam of the dress. Keep in mind - my sister tried this dress on ONCE in the store and we had no idea we were sold a defective dress until she pointed it out. Upon finding the tear, the store manager constantly and consistently insinuated we must have torn the dress. The following statements were made by Windsor management: “I was the one who checked out this dress and I inspect all dresses and give a discount for defects.” “Your daughter would have noticed the tear when she tried it on.” “I would have seen the tear when I checked you out.” Through out the discussion Aethea kept referring back to the tear. Instead of being blamed for a tear we did not cause, I felt like an apology for selling us a defective dress and more importantly some empathy toward the fact that their customer spent $200 on a dress her daughter was not able to wear would have been much more deserved and quite frankly just basic good customer service. This individual made it seem as though it were not possible for her to overlook a tear which is absolutely ridiculous. Just as my sister did not see the tear when she tried the dress on obviously Aethea overlooked it as well. At one point, the Assistant Manager was on the phone with the Store Manager and began to whisper as we were standing next to her and then left to the back of the store where we could not hear her. HORRIBLE customer service! This complaint isn’t even about the refund or store credit. It is about the awful service I witnessed from Windsor management. I hope your company takes this complaint as constructive criticism and situations such as this one are handled in a much more professional and caring way in the future. As a customer and as someone who has worked in customer service, I am truly disappointed with the service I witnessed today. No only have you lost my Mom as a customer, but you have also lost my business. I used to recommend Windsor to family, friends and acquaintances, but at this point there is no way I would ever recommend such a store to anyone. It will be quite the opposite from here on out.

Read moreThis was literally the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I was in Arkansas visiting my 92 year old grandma for her bday and we decided to all go shopping. So we ventured into Windsor my sister and I found a skirt we both wanted to try on so she proceeded to go into the dressing room she tried it on didn't like it so she left it in the rook for me to try on. I proceeded to go in right after her and as I was undressing one of the store associates knocked on my door and told me there is a line you need to get out so I apologized because I was no aware of one she was rolling her eyes and smacking her lips as she told me this and didn't offer to put my on the list I had to tell her too. A few minutes later not even 5 feet from me she starts to tell one of her coworkers that the store doesn't need my money and I can leave again while rolling her eyes and being extremely loud. I asked another associate to speak with a supervisor but she was on her lunch break so I told her to have her call me. I tried on my clothes and found a top and skirt I really liked so I made my purchase and as I was leaving the rude associate said bye and never come back this time my mother walked right up to her and told her that her behavior is unacceptable and she was telling my mom how she doesn't care and that she can say whatever she wants and being really really disgusting. I am so appalled that Windsor allows their employees to act in such a distasteful manner I will NEVER shop here again. The manager did call me and apologize for her behavior and said she would offer me 10% off my next purchase but since I don't live there she wouldn't. I feel like nothing excuses behavior like that and the employee should have been terminated immediately. Her job is to satisfy customers not make them feel like Windsor doesn't value their business. I cannot express in enough words how terrible and embarrassing the whole...
Read moreMy sister, her friend, and I went shopping for Dresses yesterday in the North Little Rock location and we were going to buy two dresses each. We go to get let into the dressing room after being targeted and watched the entire time we shopped with no a single ask of “do you need help” from an associate. All three of us go in we are let in by the sales associate who said that as long as we hung, one dress up outside, we could try them all on. Only for her to yell at us and tell us that we can’t all three be in the fitting room after I’ve already taken all my clothes off and trying to put a dress on she didn’t give us any time for me to get dressed before she went and got the store Manager who proceeds to scream at us at the top of her lungs outside the dressing room while banging on the door as hard as possible in front of all these other customers telling us that we can’t try on dresses together. How do you think we’re going to get in the dress if they’re skintight and someone has to help you get into them. This is the worst customer experience I’ve ever had we were going to spend almost $500 in there walked out with one thing because we weren’t allowed to try on the rest of the clothes. The best part was when we were told ALL SALES ARE FINAL, but they refused to let us try them on. At least we used the fitting rooms, meanwhile another group of girls were allowed to try the dresses on, on the sales floor and no one had a problem with it. I frequent Windsor for lots of events, at least twice a month, and I will not be back after the staff targeted us the entire time we were trying to shop. Ridiculous how you’re going to have somebody in customer service who doesn’t know how to handle or speak to a customer. Disrespectful employees. RUDE...
