Consistent Order Errors and Unacceptable Staff Behavior
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the repeated negative experiences I've had at the 4211 Warden Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72116 location. Items paid for were missing on multiple occasions. This has happened three times, most recently on June 20, 2025, around 1 PM CT. Though extra sauces are charged (unlike most restaurants), not receiving them is unacceptable. The most troubling aspect is the staff member's behavior at the to-go counter. Every time a missing item was addressed, the customer was met with hostility, defensiveness, and rudeness. Specifically, on June 20, 2025, the employee was argumentative and demanded the customer return to their car to "prove" sauces were missing. This disrespectful approach is unacceptable and shows a lack of concern for customer satisfaction. The customer should not have had to return if the order was correct. This pattern of shorting orders and being confrontational when a customer tries to rectify the mistake is frustrating. This location may prioritize profits over providing decent service. This isn't an isolated experience; the customer's wife encountered similar issues, and the customer's brother witnessed the interaction on June 20, 2025. Due to these repeated negative experiences, the customer will not return to this location and is reconsidering visiting other locations within the food chain. Corporate management is urged to investigate these issues promptly, specifically the employee's conduct at the to-go counter on June 20, 2025. Improving staff training on handling order discrepancies and implementing a more professional and empathetic customer service approach is crucial to prevent other customers from experiencing the same frustration.
In short.... I highly discourage going to this location. Especially if you ask for extra sauce.....
Lastly, the customer has noticed an ongoing concern regarding food handling practices. Specifically, sauce containers are often placed directly on top of the food after being handled, which raises questions about hygiene and food safety. This has been observed multiple times and does not reflect good food handling practices. The customer hopes this issue will be addressed moving forward.
Update: Upon arriving home, the customer opened the sauce containers and discovered they were only half full. This defeats the purpose of using 4-ounce containers and suggests the customer was shorted even more than initially realized. This adds to the ongoing concerns about portion consistency and overall value.
Customer called again about the update above and the person who was working the front counter answered and claimed to be a manager and that there were 3 managers at this location. Customer asked to speak to another manager and was informed other managers were absent.
Additionally, the customer noticed several pieces of undercooked or old, dried-out rice in the meal. This not only affected the overall quality but also posed a potential health risk, such as cracking a tooth. It's an issue that raises concerns about food preparation and...
Read moreIf I could give it a no star review, I would. Hands down the most disgusting "Mexican/texmex" place I have ever eaten. I ordered the new Big Ol Steak Burrito which is supposed to be 1 lb. It's half a pound of rice and half a pound of cilantro and lime. I absolutly LOATHE cilantro and lime. Literally oozing cilantro lime sauce out of it in gobs. No where in the minue did it say it had cilantro or lime in it, otherwise I would have asked them to leave it out. I took 3 bites and told them to throw it away. Complete waste of money....a more expensive version of Mo's or Blue Coast Burritos....both of which are disgusting. Taco Bell and Taco Bueno are both better choices, and that's saying a lot. Also, just a side note....if you're going to charge $13 + tax for food...it should come with free chips and salsa and/or queso.
On top of that, the place blares christian music non stop. It's the most annoying atmosphere I've ever encountered in a restaurant. They need to understand that not everyone is religious or a believer in the abrahamic religions. I found it to be extremely disrespectful. The last thing we want to do is endure religious music while eating faux mexican food. 100% hated every aspect of this visit. My GF says the Conway location does not play disrespectful religious music at its establishment. This location should take note. Just because you own something doesn't give you the right to disrespect people who don't follow your religion by forcing them to listen to christian music (played LOUDLY). We had to practically yell to hear wach other.
Will NEVER go back! People need to stop ruining other cultures foods and pushing their religious preferences on everyone....
Read moreI really enjoyed the location on Shackleford and we went to this location a few days ago. The food was the same (good), the environment was the same (vibrant, fun), and the cost was the same (a little too expensive, but goes to a good cause).
The difference for me was the ordering experience and the friendliness of employees was just not the same here. Ordering is done on your own at a screen, which is completely fine, but there are a ton of menus to click through and it takes a long time. There are also only two screens, so it can take a long time to order even if there are only a few people ahead of you.
(It's possible it can all be done ahead of time on an app, I'm not sure.)
The employees were working hard and there were plenty of them, but there was no interaction between customers and employees unless you get their attention. It would be nice to have someone at the ordering kiosks to say hi, ask if they can help, answer questions, etc. I can definitely understand the people who say that they got upset and left because they had a bunch of kids and the ordering process was too long or the folks who are not tech-saavy and can't figure out the screens but also don't have anyone to help them.
This was my first time here, so maybe it was just an off day. I'll definitely change my rating...
