I used to love aldi. My satisfaction is deteriorating by the moment though.
I work a ton and don't have a lot of time to shop, 1 or 2 times per month. This aldi in particular is nearly always out of stock of items I use on a regular basis. This makes it impossible to buy everything I need here and have to shop elsewhere too or just entirely skip aldi altogether. There doesn't seem to be any solution available. There's nothing online that will confirm what items on your list are in stock the day of. You can't call the stores to ask because they only have a national number with a meaningless recording. You have to pay extra for curbside pickup and again there's no guarantee they'll have everything on your list. It's only worth paying the additional fees if they have everything on my list especially the Pasture Raised eggs, no substitutions allowed. I don't think I've ever been able to find these in stock myself at this location. This location is one of the absolute worst in all of Dade County being absolutely depleted of stock on what's most important to me.
Staff is very nice and helpful in store about the only positive for this location are its people.
This is the closest location to me. It's a shame corporate doesn't figure out a feasible solution for customers like me. I'm sure other hard working professionals are also screwed out of shopping here for the same reasons. If consistently out of stock, find a way to supply us without jacking up the costs, since aldi prices for quality is what brings us in. If I only shop 1 to 2 times per month, I should be super easy to accommodate. I typically buy 4 dozen PR eggs per month. Somebody please find a way to help. This has been ongoing even before the recent egg shortages. Basically an...
Read moreAs a dietitian with an office right down the street I am super happy to have this store near by. Prices are rediculously low! They have a decent selection of "healthier" items & I find many of their products to be superior in nutrition & quality when compared to name brand. For example often times the Aldi brand will have no partially hydrogenated oil, less salt/sugar and/or no artificial colors while the name brand will have these & the quality in the Aldi product is same/better. They also have lunch meat with no nitrates or antibiotics, a line of organics, kefir & more. This is a new location & Aldi is fairly new in s. Fl but as a mid-westerner I have been around Aldi since I was a kid so I know what to expect. No credit cards/checks (cash/debit only), they do run the store on few employees but they pay them better than typical grocery stores & I have always found them to be helpful & go out of their way to help me find what I need. You must also bring a quarter to get a cart. You get it back when you return the cart. Just another way they keep prices low. If you forget your own bags you can buy them pretty cheap but I usually just round up empty boxes around the store to carry my stuff in. I also like the small, easy, efficient & green design...
Read moreI love Aldi! I have been shopping at this store since it opened. What I like about it is even tho it's no frills when compared to Publix, it's easier (once you learn how every thing is organized) to go in, get what you need and get out. The quality of their brands plus the great produce selection is awesome. And yes, they do have some nationally known brands of food available. The prices are also a whole lot cheaper than Publix. What I enjoy most is the isles of what Aldi calls "Seasonal" items. You never know what you'll find--clothes, shoes, linens, towels, children's toys, kitchen items, pet supplies, school stuff, rugs, storage boxes, cards, party supplies, etc. Check in there especially in the weeks before Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, and there will be a plethora of decorative items for the home. And yummy goodies too!! Also they are taking every precaution to keep customers safe during the Pandemic. Finally, all the essential workers there are...
