I had a horrible experience tonight just before closing time at the Burlington Coat Factory Store #1103 located at 10790 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, Florida 33138.
The female manager, I believe her name was "Helvina" or something to that effect, shouted aloud curse words at her subordinate employees at the front registers including: "ā¬uĀ¢k this $#!t!", "Move this D@mn...", "This ā¬uĀ¢king...", "This is some bull$#!t", etc etc.
This rant could be heard across the store and was made in the presence of my five-year-old daughter, who began to repeat some of the words and ask me what they meant.
I was compelled to speak up and stop the madness. I told her that the foul language was rude, unprofessional. I reminded her that my 5-year-old was present and that no customer should be subject to hearing such language.
She did not apologize instead she told me that she could say whatever she wanted to and that she wasn't talking to me in the first place. As she walked off, she continued to repeat over and over again, " I'll £u¢king say what I £u¢king want" " I wasn't talking to you anyway! I wasn't talking to you anyway! "
Her last words were " My manager will be here in the morning and he don't care either !!! "
Customers were already irritated by the fact that 30 minutes before closing time, she made several announcements telling all customers : " WE ARE CLOSING IN 30 MINUTES. AT THIS TIME, NO CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE ON THE FLOOR. ID YOU ARE STILL ON THE FLOOR PLEASE LEAVE THE STORE AT THIS TIME."
We we're absolutely floored by the blatant nastiness and rudeness.
As we ( customers) waited in long lines. We (customers) discussed the rude and unwelcoming statements made over the intercom system by the manager.
On the way out, cashiers and even store security apologized several times for her language and rudeness.
The Burlington brand deserves better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe two women who helped me on the phone were friendly and helpful. The first one wasnāt sure if they carried what I was asking about, so she went to check. After only a minute waiting, another picked up to say they did not carry what I wanted at the moment. Clear, simple, no waiting, and courteousāboth of them. I have not been to this store, but if I am up that way, I will check them out, going by their helpfulness over the phone.
*I gave four āļøs only because I havenāt been in person, not for any other reason.
āāāāāā- SEPARATE LOCATION BELOW: I called the Biscayne Boulevard store after I called the one on North River Drive, getting HORRIBLE customer āserviceā on the phone. If you want to speak in English (or have to), donāt bother with the NRD store, plus theyāre lazy to check on anything. Not even the mgr (if he was really that) speaks English well. Where do we live?!? Donāt get me started...
Save yourself the time and visit another location, if you want to deal with intelligent,...

I asked to call manager because the shirt I bought yesterday one of the cashiers didn't remove the security tag correctly and the other shirt it was rip the shirt when they removed the tag and I didn't notice that until I got home, the cashier next to her said they cannot refund me or replace it. the manager after 45 min never show up. what kind of managers do this store have? when the employees call them and they don't show up. they need to clean the house or they will be closing this store soon. I will never go back to this store and they can keep the money for the shirt...
