B J's Furniture Store — Local services in North Myrtle Beach

My husband and I walked into their store to purchase the glide rockers that were at the vacation home we rented for bike week. There were two women in the store, one standing and one sitting. The woman who was standing saw us standing in the front entrance, looked at us, then turned back and continued her conversation. She DID NOT acknowledge us at all. So we walked up to them both, they looked at us and once again DID NOT acknowledge our presence and continued to talk. I've never ever had such a HORRIBLE experience. They lost out on what could have been a $1000 sale or better because they chose not to sell to African Americans. I would not recommend this place to anyone of color, for your money WILL NOT be appreciated. We were completely ignored and disrespected. PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM...

The two women talking looked in our direction & continued with their conversation. Even after being approached to ask them, whom ever worked there, a few questions they STILL continued on with their conversation. We went outside and found a few more pieces of really nice furniture that we were Very interested in buying. Since we were Totally ignored we left!!!! This is the second time we have used BJ’s Furniture store of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. In November of 2019, we went to BJ’s to furnish a condo we had purchased. The experience working with the team at BJ’s was so good we returned recently to furnish the bedroom in our home. The team, on both occasions, were wonderful to work with. From the help we received selecting the right furniture to meet our needs to a great price with a friendly, can do attitude by the staff, we have been greatly impressed. We received good value for our money, and the delivery team was excellent and helpful in every way to make our experience just great.
