Our family broke down on I80 and we were able to coast our vehicle into the parking lot of KJ's Boots. The ladies working there went above and beyond to help us find a tow truck and the help we needed. It was 100 degrees that day and they welcomed us into their store to stay cool while we waited for help. We had my elderly parents with us and one of the ladies working there brought us to tears when she offered to take them home in her personal vehicle (over an hour away). The towing company arrived before I was able to do any shopping at KJ Boots, but we will be sure to stop by next time and do some shopping. Thank you ladies, so much for your kindness and hospitality! You were a tremendous blessing to us during this...

K J's has a wonderful inventory and even better staff! We went in looking for very specific things, and we came out with all our needs met and more! They were so helpful with apparel and style/fit ~ their knowledge of brands was excellent. We found great stock and selection, and great deals too! On to customer service - Exceptional! We were in the store for quite a while, checking things off our list and they were wonderful the entire time. They knew exactly when to be around, when to step away (my teen doesn't like to upset people if he just doesn't like what he tried on haha) and they were fantastic!! So itā€™s after 9 AM 24 August 2024. Been waiting here for store to open. I would like to say this is unusual for a store not to be open during its normal business hours but no, this is actually par for the course for North Platte. Says is open. Is not open. Sad but this is the norm for North Platte. I was going to spend a good dime or two today. That means a lot of dough. This would probably have been one of their best days ever today. Was planning on buying several pairs of pants along with shirts and a couple or three pairs of boots. Well over a few thousand dollars just for myself today. Too bad. Off to Kearney...
