I recommend going to a better, well managed cheer gym. The staff here couldn't have been worse and when I confronted Lexi about it, she acted like her staff member did nothing wrong. The coach degraded my daughter in front of her peers and said so many negative things that it blew my mind. Instead of encouragement, they give criticism. After leaving 4 messages for Lexi, she finally returned my call but she had no intention of doing anything. Our final conversation was that Lexi would talk to the coach and get back to me, but that was 5 months ago. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Pride All Stars. It was my daughter's first time there and it was not a good experience. We walked in and just got told where to go the lady at the front desk couldn't get up even for just a minute to take us to where we supposed to go or tell us anything about the place. Then the coach for gymsters is not very good with little kids. She was mean to my daughter and did not let her do all the exercises that they were doing in the class. There were moments when my daughter was left to just try to figure it out on her own but she's never done any gymnastics before and did not know what to do so of course she lost interest in it. We love ICE Pittsburgh. Last season we came from a small gym that just closed its doors before the season and we were welcomed with open arms. It’s a great atmosphere for all ages! There is a class or team for everyone! The owners and coaches are amazing and love each kid as if they were there own! It’s a family atmosphere and I couldn’t see my daughter cheering anywhere else!
