I have stayed twice now and I have been impressed both times. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The lobby offers plenty of room to read or spread out to do work. Many people who stay here are regulars that come for extended periods due to jobs. They have a laundry facility, a great workout room complete with several expected machines, benches and weights and yoga area and mats. There is a pool as well. They serve free breakfast daily and have a bar with a select menu that is open most evenings. They do have event rooms as well. And for pet owners, they welcome your pets as guests too! They do have several suite configurations and I have seen many signs on the rooms that indicate they are committed to making sure any person, with any need, finds a place to feel comfortable here.
Many shops and restaurants are either walking distance or a very short drive, the Tanger Outlets are right around the corner.
The people who work here are kind and considerate and never hesitate to help. In fact, some remembered my name between stays which is so impressive for a person like me, who is not gifted with that skill.
I have found that this location seems to have some great deals when booking with points. While I can’t speak to that throughout the year, I found that while their prices were in line with the competition when paying in points they were actually less. It might have been a one time situation, but I’d suggest trying if you are looking for value.
There are three Marriott hotels in the area, two in the Tanger Outlet vicinity and one by the Trinity Mall. All are owned by different groups. While there are Marriott familiarities throughout all, you will find differences beyond price. All three seem to stay equally busy, so be sure to book early.
Spring 2025 update: Still my go to hotel in the area, and there are many that look worth trying. But the staff there has been incredibly kind and helpful during each stay and they treat all guests with such respect there really isn’t a need to go anywhere else. I was also excited to be able to visit during weather that allowed me to enjoy the patio...
Read moreSpent three nights at the Fairfield Inn located in Washington PA. Check-in and out were quick and easy. Entire hotel was immaculate. Gym was exceptional for a hotel gym, containing several bikes, treadmills, full set of weights, and area for yoga/stretching, and a scale. For those that carry water bottles, a filtered water machine was available near the entry to the gym. Very nice indoor pool. Better than expected buffet style breakfast served every morning, with bagels, oatmeal (with more toppings available than one could imagine), eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), apples and bananas, coffee, juice and more. Double king room was spotless, comfortable, very quiet, with spacious updated bathroom. Mini-refrigerator and keurig also available in room. For those interested, a nice bar was available after 5:00 pm. No issues with parking, and parking lot appeared safe. Hotel was close to casino and restaurants. Hotel far exceeded expectations, and was competitively priced. Can't say anything bad about my experience, so I have to give the Fairfield Inn in Washington...
Read more1st night as a platinum elite member. Checked in, nothing offered and when asked about our welcome gift, was told I just added points so I’m still not clear what the food and beverage amenity is. Front desk never asked about late checkout that was requested or updated it in the app so we just left early . I asked about a room upgrade and she replied, “not this time” which seemed absurd for a Thursday with no events in town. Our room was on the 3rd floor next to the Ice machine, which I’ve been told are usually the rooms given to 3rd party bookers. The hotel reeked of weed. Our bathroom stank of sulphur farts and the sink didn’t drain properly. We asked for extra pillows when reserving the room which we were messaged back “absolutely taken care of” and didn’t receive. The breakfast lady scoured at all the diners and the cloches were all but empty only with 1 item in each Overall I had better stays and accommodations as a gold elite member and I am super let down by what I thought was going to be an...
