Taqueria Durango Express — Restaurant in North Township

I live nearby and the Elote's were INSANELY disappointing. they didn't drain the water from the corn, so the damn cup was 80 percent LIQUID! No Mayo or even Parkay in it and when my husband asked for an "elote"/"elote en vaso" (corn in a cup), they looked at him overly confused, this was insanely disappointing. I would think because of the good reviews this would be great. Maybeee their regular food is okay? But honestly based on the preparation of THIS? The location is just a great spot to get the desperate factory and bridge engineers that work nearby. I'm not WOW'd, prep was poor and sloppy, and lacks true...

I had 15 minutes before my next appointment. I saw Taqueria Durango Express and stopped in to order. My order was taken immediately. I ordered the taco dinner for $9.99. I also purchased 6 homemade chicken tamales that were in a display case for $12.99. The beans and rice were fresh, hot, and delicious. The 3 tacos blew me away. They were large and stuffed with lean, flavorful steak, onion, and cilantro! They were amazing!!! The chicken tamales were also fresh, hot, and delicious. For a small place, they offer delicious food fast at any incredible fair price. I highly recommend Taqueria...

The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food.
