My girlfriend and I have traveled around the country to visit haunted attractions of all varieties. Tonight, Reapers Realm accomplished what none of those could do: make us want to walk out and leave during the haunt. First off, we waited in line for a good while just to pay for the speed pass. Once in, after having the rules barked at us, we were shoved into a group that ended up colliding with every other group inside. Sets were badly strewn together and the actors super lazy, that is, when there were actors to actually be found - several rooms were totally empty. There was absolutely no seamlesness or purpose to anything here. Makeup was bad, one "Freddy" was particularly laughable. I found myself wondering a few minutes in when this waste of my time would mercifully come to an end. We eventually reached a clown themed room that took us to yet another line, strangely in the middle of the haunt itself...odd. We sat in here for several minutes, a couple of us glancing at the time on our phone to see if we'd ever get out of here. Eventually, one of their many annoying security guards showed up and dangerously walked across the railing over patrons and children to flash his light at us and yell "no phones!". Really, no phones where nothing is happening for God knows how long? So, we told him to kick us out and put an end to this garbage haunted house. He didn't believe us, but we insisted. Finally leaving this ripoff hellscape excuse for a haunt. I've heard that this place has been operating for 30 years or so. Well, it's time to pack it up and move on. $140 was wasted in our group for this....
Read moreReapers Realm is not worth the $25 + $3 parking fee. I was very disappointed after all the good things I have heard about this haunted attraction. For starters the majority of the other haunted attractions in this regen have free parking and reapers realm charges $3 for it. There is a lot of opportunity to be had in there Q-line. There was no line entertainment of any sort, music would have been great to have had or even some characters walking around to take pictures with. Once inside the haunted house, the beginning welcome scene is the coolest part. I was very disappointed with how un-scary the haunted house was inside. It was very dated and there where nearly no actors. Most of the costumes where not original and you could tell where bought at the local popup Halloween stores and the makeup was a minimum. Often times you would walk through whole scene without even seeing one actor. I noticed a lot of things where broken too, such as the second vortex tunnel and a few of the animatronics. The combination of all these “opportunities” is why I gave reapers real such a low rating. If they were to fix these issues this place has a lot of potential and could truly be a great if not the best haunted house in North...
Read morethis was the biggest waste of 2 hours in line and 40 dollars. i can see why they say no refunds. there were 16 total actors (yes i counted), all of which who looked like they were ready to go home for the day. didnt even speak. just stopd in hall corners. barely decorated rooms, just a walk thru of a dark 3 floor building. with a couple lame props. the woods was 4 minutes of wasted time. 5 people. no jump scares, no interactions. just pointing you where to go. what a shame. been coming here my whole life and they really just didnt care this year. house and woods took 18 minutes. every person who we walked thru with all were saying the same about how awful it was and what a waste of money. i was sad to hear this was the last year but the current people running it ruined it. i wanted some merch for nostalgia but all they had were some masks and candy. all the food vendors were closed already, which i mean sure, i got here at 8 and went in the house at 957, but man. what a let down. noones...
