Came in 2 weeks ago for an IPhone X screen replacement due to water got into the phone. I went with the after market screen for 250 or something because the OEM one if they order will cost 300 and above so no way I would pay that much and that haven’t include the labor cost yet. I have to wait for 4, 5 days for the screen to arrive at the store. I couldn’t wait that long so I spent another 15 for the 2 days shipping. I came back to pick up the phone and immediately realized the bezel at the bottom is much more thicker compares to the OEM screen, the 3D Touch is not as responsive, when open the lock screen and swiped up sometimes it glitches, other than that the screen functions normal. Slightly irritated but what can I do, you get what you pay for. Then yesterday I was on sitting on the toilet and accidentally dropped my phone, the corner hit the ground and the screen start glitching the hell out. I tried turning it on but the screen only lights up until it got bright then automatically shut off. I left it at that and struggle to sleep. Woke up in the morning and in hope that I can get a refund because I’m still in the warranty time. Showed up and got told that there are hair line cracks at the corner but the screen protector doesn’t have any damage. The guy told me he cannot send it back because it got damaged. I’m just frustrated and disappointed that the screen quality and toughness is that crappy. I dropped my OEM screen a few times and it works fine, only have scratches. But this one dropped from toilet height completely killed the screen. I remembered he said specifically that he ordered only middle to high quality screen only, maybe he does but after one drop it kills the phone kinda makes me doubt that. He told me that he can give me a discount on the labor but other than that’s i have to pay for a new screen and probably have to wait for it to get shipped to the store. I’m like nah, I ain’t got the time for that. To replace a screen pix screen at Apple cost 280 for an OEM screen, I ended up paying for a 245 after market screen already excluded the 50 for labor and 2 days shipping and now dead. So what would seem like a better choice? I’m gonna pay another 280 as a lesson. I know I’m just being a whiny b*tch but it could have went better. I’m sure they would do a good job on older iPhone but anybody that looking to to replace an IpX screen here, you better off go straight to Apple and get it fix, don’t...
Read moreI gave this place 5 stars in the beginning because I thought they fixed my battery and my charger port. So when my phone started acting up shortly after I left there, I went back there naturally to figure out what could be happening with it now. So they put my phone on the jack and told me never to let my phone run completely out of juice because it’s not good for the phone. That’s the 1st time. I went back because of course my phone lost battery life and shut down and wouldn’t cut back on. So they put it back on the jack again and told me that they may have to change my battery because by me having that bad charging port it might have zapped my battery. So I know your saying in your head wait she just said he fixed her battery and charging port right? Well that’s what I said then he said no you didn’t you never got your battery fixed. So that tells me right there they’re shady because they told me they fixed them both and obviously they didn’t. That’s the second time. Then i took it home after he so called “ran some test” then they told me that the iPhone did a new update that there’s a trick to cutting it back on when it cuts off. I guess I’m stupid because I tried this trick so many times and “surprise” still a completely dead ass phone. That’s trip three. So I take it to the apple store in Orland and they hand me a new iPhone for free and says that there was nothing fixed on this phone it’s just a faulty phone. So now my next trip is back to Repair + to get my money back. That’s round trip four. I gave them one star because that’s the least they could get for returning...
Read moreI had been going here with no issue's for years but today changed my view. I had taken my xbox series x for repairs and a cleaning was done for 100 dollars. Picked up and took home and xbox still not functioning. Brought back and turned out to be other issue that cost between 250 and 350. I was told that they had an open box series x for sale. Still band new just open box or display. I said sure I will buy. They asked if I want controller inside and i said no because my son has several. Paid and went home and realized that I did not get any cords that I needed to hook up new xbox. I went back the next day and said hey I forgot the cords to hook up the new xbox and was told that I only paid for console and I had to pay extra for cords and it was upset and shocked. I explained why would I buy a new xbox open box from you and use old hardware to hook up. She had no answer and called her boss and was given some old power cord she had behind counter that looked old and used. I asked were the other cords were and she said that was all she had. I replied how could you sell anything you claim to be new and not have new hardware to fully set up. I am disappointed and will never go back and I added if you did not have all hardware to sell with console say explicitly what it comes and does not come with. The only thing that she told me is that...
