Hammond Lakefront Park and Bird Sanctuary — Attraction in North Township

$10 Dollar out of state parking, beach and a small bird sanctuary hiking trail.

There are two beaches located on the property, one immediately next to the parking area and another at the opposite end of the park.

The bird sanctuary trail itself is a tight one person wooded trail that was a tad overgrown and was full of spider webs. Be sure to grab a stick before going down the trail to wave the webs away if you don't want to be covered.
