Wonderful event held every year, nestled in the mountains. Apples Galore & they are prepared in a multitude of ways for your pallet. Bring your wallet and appetite as there is no shortage of vendors for your hunger or desire for the unique arts. Handmade items to include leather items, baskets, pottery, knitting & jewelry and much more. Plan on spending the day, and wearing comfortable walking shoes. This is one Festival you don't want to miss!

Had a lovely day at the Apple Festival! Was disappointed that the food lines were way too long to stand in with kids. Would be nice if more food vendors were brought in next year! Especially funnel cakes. 😀 but overall we thoroughly enjoyed browsing the vendors and listening to the live music. Also, the Greek food was to die for. 😋 also a MAP would be an excellent addition next year.

A lot of pottery, crafts, kids toys, clothing, unique food prep items, keepsakes, music and tons of delicious food & drink tents including freshly made to order apple pies! Street tacos were delicious as were the apple pies!! Little kids were enjoying the camel and pony rides and petting friendly farm animals!

I was disappointed with the apple festival. This was my first time going and may be my last. It had very little to do with apples. I only saw 3 vendors with apple items. 2 were selling apples. The other had apple pie, but by the time we got there, they had sold out and were broking down. I will say there were a lot of vendors. The food prices were outrageous. While I know prices are high when you go to these events, the prices were way too high. Especially for people with large families like I have. My husband went to order one of my daughters, some chicken tender and fries. It had it listed for $15. If we were there, I would have never gotten them. I was over with my other daughters getting something different far less expensive. When he went to pay, they charged him $20, which I would have disputed, but he didn't. To add insult to injury there were only 4 small tenders and some...

The festival was very crowded since they only had it one day. The weather was nice but still warm and the sun was very bright. No tables provided for sitting down in the shade to eat. There were a lot of vendors and nice things to look at. However, the food was terrible and overpriced. My husband got a Gyro and a lemonade for the price of $35.20. They’re ripping people off left and right. The corn dogs came out of a package from Walmart. The gyro tasted awful, and the lemonade was so watered down it...

So oct.2 2021. I looked online last night to make sure the festival was Still on, web site said yes. So my wife and I drive the little over an hour drive to find the streets dead except for a few others that said they did the same thing. I don't think they will ever have it again as long as the big C word is out there and people are scared. Wilkesboro is a dying town anyways hardly anything in historic down town but a great old theater. That will be the only thing I will ever go back there for is the...
