I was disappointed with the apple festival. This was my first time going and may be my last. It had very little to do with apples. I only saw 3 vendors with apple items. 2 were selling apples. The other had apple pie, but by the time we got there, they had sold out and were broking down. I will say there were a lot of vendors. The food prices were outrageous. While I know prices are high when you go to these events, the prices were way too high. Especially for people with large families like I have. My husband went to order one of my daughters, some chicken tender and fries. It had it listed for $15. If we were there, I would have never gotten them. I was over with my other daughters getting something different far less expensive. When he went to pay, they charged him $20, which I would have disputed, but he didn't.
