King Street Convenience — Local services in Northampton

Though I haven't been here in several years, I will let you all know that I came here & had asked very politely to use the restroom when I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy after my vehicle broke down in Northampton & the young man working here refused, even after I offered to pay him to use it! Horrible service... And this was after I made a purchase, so I was a paying customer. Public restroom or not, it's pretty low to refuse a pregnant woman use of your restroom on a hot Summer day, after she told you her car broke down & was waiting on a ride that was coming from an hour away. I haven't returned since & wouldn't recommend it, unless you want to be treated like this! Hopefully this employee no longer works here. I've seen animals treated better than I was that day. I'll never forget that awful experience! I had my young child with me also, who I was bringing to a dental appointment before my vehicle broke down. I'd give 0 stars...

All the other reviews saying how terrible the service is are unfortunately right & them some. The man who usually staffs this store is just astoundingly rude, obstructive, & downright mean, how he is still employed is a world-class mystery. He'll refuse to sell you stuff, say right to your face that he doesn't want to help you, call you names, insult you, yell at you, spit food - and I'm a local, it's not just catching him on a bad day, it's like that for everyone all the time. Stay Away this place is bait and switch with gas prices they refuse to admit to their mistake complete refusal. The way they speak to senior citizens is absolutely unacceptable he tried 3 times to get the price of gas stated as the cash price and they refused to rectify the problem with with of us.
