Strada Shoes — Local services in Northampton

I never think of myself as a person who likes shoes, so after shopping at Strada I was very surprised to discover that I'm actually a person who loves shoes. Strada only sells high quality shoes...nothing the stores carries is junk that you'll end up throwing away in a year or two. That said, the prices are fair. Most importantly, the staff are professionals who will give you their honest assessment of whether a particular shoe or brand is right for your needs--but there's no pressure to buy. Upon entering the store, the sales man was incredibly condescending and rude to me. Never in my life has anyone talked down to me as this man did. I was really excited to buy a pair of boots and that completely deflated. I asked him to stop speaking to me in the manner that he was and he said “I don’t know what you’re talking about” and threw the box down on the couch after I asked for a different size. I wish I was exaggerating when I say this was the worst shopping experience...
