Monster Mini Golf is a fun, family-friendly, glow-in-the-dark, mini golf course. There are three separate locations in Massachusetts, to offer the most convenience to families who would like to golf. The mini golf course is phenomenal! The entire inside of the building is glow in the dark. There are eighteen holes just like a regular mini golf course, and each hole is unique in itself. One hole has a giant clown face a player has to score in, and the next has a full loop-the-loop that participants have to get the ball through. Monster Mini Golf is definitely one of my favorite arcades. Even though it is smaller than some arcades, it has the best games. This arcade has a Big Bass, a Stacker, and an air hockey table: these are three of my favorite games. Also, Monster Mini Golf has great ticket prices on their prizes. For instance, I won a fully functioning boomerang for only 180 tickets. That boomerang would be around 500 tickets or more at PINZ or Dave and Busters. One of my favorite attributes about Monster Mini Golf is the astounding staff. I have never met nicer staff anywhere I have been! When my friend and I were waiting in line, one of the staff came over and had an actual conversation with us. He even made us laugh! Not only do the staff interact with visitors, but they are also exceedingly generous. If someone visits and finds a prize on the floor, the staff person will just let that person have it. I would highly recommend Monster Mini Golf to kids, teens, and adults if they want to have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād give it a 4.5 if it werenāt for the staff and experience. I think Iāve left 2 reviews on Google in 20 years, but feel compelled to after my recent trip to Monster Mini Golf with my 4 year old.
Iād been here twice before and enjoyed both visits, that said this visit didnāt sit well with me. My son and I arrived just after 5 PM. There were 3 parties golfing, but we were told itād be close to a one hour wait.
I was ready to leave, despite driving an hour, but of course that wasnāt going to happen with my son. So we made the most of it at the arcade.
This is where it got weird⦠The staff was rude, unwelcoming, and could care less that youngsters have an early bed time. Iād completely understand the latter, if it were busy, but there were no more than 4 people golfing for the better part of the hour.
I even pleaded to let us go, as mini golf with a kid averages about 55 second per hole⦠Wasnāt happening and I was told there was a bday party that clearly wasnāt there for at least 60 minutes, and even while charging arcade cards/redeeming tickets I felt we were inconveniencing the ābusyā staff.
Ultimately, we waited for an hour and 22 minutes, golfed for about 20 mins, and wonāt be coming back anytime soon.
Great place for patient adults or dates. Terrible place to take kids. I assume the staff owns the place, but if they donāt, hate to break this to the owners - you could be doubling your revenue.
Parents beware - call ahead and donāt go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs far as I am concerned, if youāre a tourist, donāt waste your money. We were in town for the weekend and decided to visit with our teenagers. We spent $120 to play one round of golf for 4 adults. We had to wait 35 minutes so we played in the arcade to pass the time. It is very crowded and only had a few games. The arcade is not worth the expense. When we were called for our turn on the golf course we thought it would be great fun, and we were having family fun UNTIL as we started hole 6 a worker came and asked us to move several holes ahead because they had to get a birthday party on the course. In fairness, they did offer us a complimentary game after the party was finished but we didnāt have time to wait several hours for the party to get through and then get put back on the waitlist. We took a couple putts at each hole then picked up our balls and moved to the next until we hit the last hole. The first 10 minutes were fun, but this place is not worth the money at all. Totally...
