*UPDATE: Immediately after I posted my original review of the new Natick location (still posted below), I got a call from operations director Justin Mavromatis, who must have tracked me down based on the information I gave. He apologized for the error, adjusted the collections amount to $0, and then sent me my original co-pay to make up for the inconvenience.
He later went above and beyond by putting my X-rays from the visit onto a disc and mailing them to my specialist at no charge.
The Natick facility I visited was clean, staff was friendly, doctors had good bedside manners and were caring. The only reason for the 4-star rating is due to the difficulty I had getting the error resolved in the first place. But being a new location, I'm sure there are kinks to work out.
The important thing is that as soon as management learned of the error, they corrected it, compensated me for the inconvenience, and then went out of their way to help. They obviously care about providing excellent care, and I would definitely go here again.
Initial 1-star post: BEWARE! I was prescribed medicine for broken ribs that I complained made me itchy. They said to return it and they'd swap the script. I did that, and they made me sign in and see the doctor, much to my shock. When I asked about this, they swore I would not be charged again. But guess what? I was charged another $75. They made it out as if I was allergic, when everyone knows this is a common side effect to opioids. I called and explained and the girl at the desk remembered me. She assured me they would wipe the fee and not to worry. Today I got a letter from collections. I'm just going to pay the $75 but am irate about it. DO NOT GO HERE. The one on Rt. 9 next to Oga is fantastic and they've never bilked...
Read moreI've been going to this urgent care since they were at there original norwood location and in the 8 years of going there for anything from stomach bugs to chronic migraines to upper respiratory infections they have been my saving grace. Before I started going there I would usually have to make an emergency appointment with my PCP and wait 2-3 to be seen or go to the ER this urgent care is the perfect middle man and they don't waste your time, sometimes they are a bit busy but they are organized and get to everyone as soon as possible and that's one of the reasons they switched locations to accommodate more people since this one is much bigger than the original office. Today I went in because I had a migraine for 3 days straight I went in checked explained my problem then was taken to the back in under 5 min, they keep good notes so they know this is something I've delt with in the past, then treated me accordingly and I was out the door feeling like a functioning person again. The staff are all beyond nice and do their very best to make you feel comfortable and understand everything going on, it's always immaculately clean I've never even seen dust on the floor. And most importantly they are straight forward about your health, if they think they aren't equipped for something they will recommend a hospital but for the most part they can do almost everything they need to like X-ray, CTs, Cast, Nebulizer treatments, Labs, ect. Overall always a 10/10 experience in all my years of going there I've never seen a decline in service they are amazing I'm grateful they exist. (Shout out to all the amazing staff you are...
Read moreI have taken several members of my family to this facility. In ALL instances we went through the following: You arrive and sign in on a touch screen. In 1-3 minutes, they call you to the window. I have been here about 10 times, during all hours of the day, and have NEVER waited more than 3 minutes to be called. When you get to the window, you tell them your issue, provide them with your personal and insurance info, and go back to the waiting area. From here, it's always 2-8 minutes of wait time before you are called in. I actually think 5 minutes was the longest I've waited, but I'll say 8 minutes just as a margin of error. The reviewers who said they waited 45 minutes are flat out lying. It never happens with me, and I see other patients going in just as quickly. Once you go inside, they ask you about your medical problem. The nurses take your BP, temperate, and then there's a small wait of 3-10 minutes for the actual doctor. Then the doctor comes in and begins to treat you. You might get a shot, you might be prescribed meds. The examination rooms are clean and well equipped, like any exam room at a good hospital. Anyone who says that there are debris or garbage lying around, or that the staff looks worn out, are LYING. This place provides, quick, professional urgent care from qualified staff in as pain-free and hassle-free way as I have ever experienced anywhere in the U.S. As many have said, it's better than going to your own primary care doctor. Much...
