I've been here 6ish times and keep coming back. It's always phenomenal. Super friendly, family run. Takeouts been stellar, crankin hot when we got home. Dining area / table service is bigger than it looks from the outside. The tables are slightly separate from the pickup counter so they do a good job of managing both. Even walking around the corner heading here i can smell the most wonderful spices, meat and dough sizzling from the kitchen.
They're great about asking your spice level for any dish it matters. Mild, medium, hot.. hot heat was 🔥🔥 w the fried rice tonight, my Mom got Medium and loved it.
I usually drench Sriracha but this place knows their spices, I would definitely start at medium heat if you're unsure. I don't order Hot unless I'm in the mood.. tonight I broke into a sweat and had to blow my nose. TMI, I know. Went back for more.
Huge portions, so many different options but I haven't had...
Read moreNorwood spice is located in the heart of downtown Norwood. This was a new place for us that had popped up on Yelp so we decided to try this out. I tried this place a couple of times before giving this review so here it goes.
Let me get the elephant out of the room. There’s no dine in available so your options are limited to take out or delivery. That being said, I’m sure you won’t regret either of those two options as the food was fantastic. We ordered tangy gold tenders, chicken tandoori, samosa chaat, naan, lamb curry, chicken tikka masala and lamb roghan josh. The entree come with rice as well. They also offer some fried papad which was a nice touch.
The portion size is good and the food is tasty. The price is also decently priced. The overall Indian food isn’t that spicy but it’s flavorful. Overall, this place is decent with its food offering and the price point together with their generous...
Read moreVery underrated restaurant. The prices and service are incredible for what you get. They’re flexible with changing ingredients (when possible) to modify spice level, etc. The staff are ALWAYS incredibly friendly and take all their feedback seriously. It’s a great family run business and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for this type of food in the area.
I see some complaints about delivery time but I’ve been ordering from them since they opened and only a couple of times were they a few minutes behind when they said they would arrive (something that can happen at any restaurant), and they had the courtesy to call me and let me know BOTH times. I’ve ordered from plenty of restaurants that couldn’t care less.
Food wise, I would highly recommend the saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, shaag paneer, and lastly the chicken korma and chicken momo’s...
