I just left after an appointment with Tina and that place is just amazing! I've tried and been faithful to other places but not anymore as Jaxs is less than 10 mins from home and their work and ambiance was better for me than those other places. I love going to one in Aiea but just because it's too far I needed one closer. There were negative reviews but I can't understand why and glad I still came to find out for myself. They got me for lifetime! Thank you for the best experience!

They’re a really clean place but I guess it was my first time going there the lady tried to charge me $52 for acrylic nails. I told her wow that’s ok, I can go someplace else and pay less than $40 she insisted that they were the cheapest. I googled another nail place which is a popular one and it cost only $35 for a full set. Nope she still said that’s not right. Didn’t wanna make a big deal and just left. While leaving she was talking her language to her people that wk there.

Plus side is its clean and on the westside so close to home. The ladies are nice and talkative. Had a couple local girls in there the first time I went which made me happy to see some diversity in there! I used to come here before it turned into Jax and liked it then so I've given it a few tries. I can't speak for the nails aspect because I always get a pedi but it's just OK. Its more like washing my feet and legs and painting my nails than any massaging unfortunately. I even brought my husband this last time and he said the same thing. I've had a few different women so it's kind of a common occurrence. I work a fast paced job in tennis shoes for 8 hours a day and would just love a good relaxing massage after. I've never gotten a basic package, always a deluxe or higher and I've yet to see the difference in them. Guess I have to travel back to Kapolei. I might try again in the future. If I...

Started my day getting the WORST manicure of my life at Deluxe nail spa in waianae.. then decided to go check out Jaxx and have them redo my horrible bumpy nails that I paid $100 for ..

Jaxx was super nice and nicely decorated not what I expected from a west side nail shop at all.. Deluxe Nail Spa in waianae was exactly what I was scared of and why I had always got my nails done in town.

Jaxx was as nice as any salon in town and little bit more affordable.. My nail tech was Emily she did my gel mani flawlessly and she was very sweet and friendly.. owner was funny and pleasant to be around .. perfect nails, great customer service , spotlessly clean and very pretty salon :) this shall be my new nail salon...
