Horrible!!!!!! I unfortunately lost my job in November 26th. I called them made my last knowing payment and told them to pick up. I had received a new sofa I was told, it kept ripping at the seams. They came picked up the damaged items .Never received replacement items. Signed up for auto pay and they say they need permission to authorize. Not true the manager is very sneaky, even though I informed them they unknowingly processed a payment of 300.00. Then informed me promise of a refund. This was half true but my account was in the negative due to utilities. I wish they informed me of the payment but no. Thankfully my bank got my back and credited my account so I can feed my family. This manager lied and said it was refunded. I was hung up on and lied to. I'm an honest person and was going through rough times. This manger said they aren't the bad guys we owed this money and so they took it. Be aware when they say "just stay in contact we will work with you." they only care about $$$. I had to call them after a month to ask can you please come get this! They waited another week and finally came yesterday. There drivers delivery men are I guess men they grab from the corners of the east side EXTREAMLY GHETTO and RUDE!!!. I will never do business with them ever again. Worst experience of my life. And as for the Manager, I have my payment back and the bank is going to handle you. I'm speaking with the regional manager. I'm my opinion You definitely deserve to be terminated from your position. That's GM To GM. As I am a manager of the holiday inn express. I understand your need for accounts paid. You were told what was going on and you only did what was best for you. I hope this blows up in your face!!!! Unprofessional and uncalled for. You can be sure I will never do business with you again. As for my family and friends and anyone who I come across they will be aware of the way your company does business. Ur a liar and a crook. If you do business with Arron's don't give them your bank info. Or do the insurance option. It's a scam. There is no customer service. Be careful shoppers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AT YOUR OWN RISK.and yes in thankfully employed again and on my way to help rent-center. No I'm not getting any merchandise. Got bills to catch up on just sharing my story. Living paycheck to paycheck waking up to find ur account in an unexpected negative is nightmareish. No gas no food starving. Then the gentleman answered and I asked him if I can order the items for my job and have the company pay for it over the phone. He then placed me on another hold for 8mins to get a response from his DM . The DM pick up the phone and said yes and to go online and apply first. Which I did , and called back and spoke to the gentleman. He then asked for a 1 year plan or 2 year plan . I responded “I only need it for one month “ then he said okay it’ll be $67 or $66 a month . I said either is fine, which then he sends me a code to confirm contract. Which was $87 and not anywhere near $66-67. (You can tell he was untrained) I spoke and said how did it go from $66-67 to $87 and that’s when the DM (female) jumps into the conversation on speaker and said you didn’t say 1yr or 24months so we choose one. I said “I said 1 month and $66 or $67 payment was fine” . She said I’m asking to much questions and that all I have to do is listen (she said it arrogantly and rudely). At that moment I said “Mrs it’s not wrong as a customer for me to ask questions and it’s wrong to be told not to ask questions whenever I have a question especially when your employee got information wrong. I understand you get lots of questions daily , but there’s no need to be rude to me the customer” They put me on hold and then said they have to redo the contract and that the DM (the lady that was there ) had to reset it but had to leave as she was going to help another customer. After all this nonsense and unnecessary stress and unprofessionalism from staff I said “I’m okay I don’t want your service and good luck” and hang up. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Wasted over 50 mins on phone and online with them today. I always use Rent-A-Center but the item I needed was unavailable, so I had to look elsewhere. I have the Rent-A-Center store manager phone number who is very helpful and kind. Read moreThe new staff is horrible!! Ive been a Aarons customer for years. And have used this location in the past. The previous GM they had was great. Now the entire staff is rude and unprofessional. I placed a order the end of March online. The items were delivered to the store. They called me one time. I tried to return the call for about a week. I finally got a hold to someone. All i needed to do was schedule my delivery. She told me she can’t help me i need to call back. So i tried to call again. No answer no call back. Then they called me for my payment that was due for items i never received. I told the lady on the phone i didn’t receive my items yet. I was told she would call me back she had to find the person to help with that. Couple days later I got a call from her saying someone was going to call me back. I told her to have them leave me a voicemail because of my work hours and that someone was always home they could just set up the delivery and let me know. She told me they can bring it to the house and i would have to take it off the truck. I don’t know what kind of customer service standards Aarons has anymore but this surely isnt the way it has been in the past. Now I’m getting letters about catching up on my payments. Still with no items. Then just received an email that I returned them. From reading the other reviews. There is clearly an issue with the staffing at this location.
