I went to the drive-through, the automatic machine always gets my order wrong because I special order my food, so I waited for someone to answer. After 45 to 50 seconds someone answered and said hold on. I sat for two minutes and nobody came back to help me so I went ahead and drove off. There was nobody else in line waiting for food or inside. The employees were just standing there talking. I called and talked to a manager, she said that the computer was down and they were training people. Yeah, really? Personally, if I was training somebody I would show them how to handle the customer when the computers are down by letting the customer know our computers are down, can you please wait a few minutes or we’re training people, can you give us a minute but noone came back to me and said anything. I Don’t think they even noticed that I left. Terrible customer service. This is not the first time this has happened when I haven’t used that automated machine in the drive through. Personally, I think they do it on purpose to make you use that automated machine. No more belly bombers for me and when I called the manager, she said OK if you...
Read moreFood was fantastic but as soon as I walked in my acquaintance was greeted with warmth and an answer to a question he had. I spoke and I was met with some attitude from one employee didn’t catch her name and it seemed like whatever I had to say did not matter then as I got up to get my order I believe the person in charge decided to mutter something insulting under her breathe I’m not sure if she said I was a weirdo or something else but it seemed like we all had an intense reaction to what she was saying she looks like she is miserable working for White Castle doesn’t seem to take her position too seriously and it’s some questionable behavior for someone in a position of authority for others to watch and reflect on. Besides that the girl with the piercings did an outstanding job at being kind and respectful she made my food to best she could and looked like she is a responsible employee who does her job and is...
Read moreI tried the new old 1929 (21?) burger and it was delicious. I also had a fried fish sandwich that was incredibly crispy and delicious as well. The 1929 is a remake of their original burger with a twice-as-thick pattie, lettuce, tomato and pickle, 2 per order. I also had a chocolate shake (small, 21 oz, is plenty!) and enjoyed that very much as well. Definitely recommend as it's our occasional "guilty pleasure" stop, although the 1929 burger made me feel a little less guilty 😁
The restaurant was clean and the drink machine had many selections, but due to COVID you still have to get packets of ketchup, tartar sauce, etc. (an environmental nightmare).
But I especially want to give a shout out to the staff. They are ALWAYS so patient and friendly. Under hot, sweaty working conditions I'd expect less but they are ALWAYS the best hosts. Don't see that very often ANYWHERE these days so THANK...
