GameStop — Local services in Oak Harbor

Usually our experience with Game Stop is good. But we went in today (1/12/25) at about 5pm, and asked about a used Xbox Series X controller for our Xbox One and the woman didn't even bother answering our question about having one in stock. She had to be corrected about the compatibility of the controller and was short and a little rude after that. You lost a sale because of her rudeness. I'll purchase the controller elsewhere.

Please educate your employees on what controllers are compatible with what. An Xbox Series X controller is compatible, easily paired with and switched between devices including Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Windows PC,...

As a way older person I am doing a review based on my thoughts about gaming an how this place is stocked. It's an alright store for a smaller town. I only have a portable device and I still like game cartridges so the selection is alright but for the amount of games out there for my device the selection is low but easy enough to get the latest news games. Clean and organized but don't think you can get in and out quickly. They are not in a rush to do anything. Somewhat knowledgeable of gaming systems and games. Very polite...

Great Gamestop! Good chunk of merchandise at location, and the staff will work with you to find the products you want. Friendly staff that does tell you good information on the merchandise and games.
