I popped into Maurice's to use up some of my birthday gift card and was greeted by the manager, Brittny, who guided me to the sections that matched my style. Then I met Rose, who really made my shopping trip special. She helped me pick out an outfit, try on different styles, and figure out what worked best for my body type, which can be tough for me due to my developmental disability. Rose even booked me a fitting room since it was busy and kept bringing me new options throughout my three-hour visit. Madeline was also super helpful and fun to chat with while Rose managed the front desk. I spotted Marley a few times too, and it was great to see a guy in fashion helping women with their outfits. Horrible experience with management at this location. Absolutely disrespectful and unwilling to help and make wrongs right knowing their own management messed up the transaction. Brittney S. the manager was so disrespectful and rude she should not be working in customer service and should be FIRED! Brittney S. per your words "please don't tell me how to do my job I've been here 14 years don't need to read a receipt to tell me how to do my job" comment was not necessary! Today’s date May 20, 2025, I purchased an item ant the Oak Harbor WA location and when I just tried to return the item with a receipt but no tag I was told I could not. The manager said this is the Oak Harbor WA store policy. I called another location and will be able to return my item there without the receipt but without the tag. It would be nice if that is a certain store policy that there is a sign or you are told when you purchase items. The manager I spoke to was a tall female with curly dark hair.
