Jumbo Burrito — Restaurant in Oak Harbor

This place has a perfect selection of those southwestern favorites. Very easy to order, nice and friendly staff...which is essential... Cause for someone to go into a Spanish style restaurant. You don't want to feel like...you don't know how to place an order... I know, I have been there, it can really make you feel stupid and almost not want to order... But after that first bite, you always thank yourself for following through with the order lol. The staff at this establishment is friendly and fast... They want you hapoy with your order and they want to get it out to you quick... It really seems as one of the places you hear about by word of mouth, on how to order and so forth.... My suggestion if you have been before...and are not picky... Is trying the the tacos with some different meats.. Gotta load it up with Cilantro, Pico De Gallo and Guacamole... I say!! Always take the cream and gordita cheese at the end, it is deliciously worth it... If you have never ever been... I suggest startibg easy... Get yourself the Jumbo or Jr burrito.. Load it up with your coice of beans, (I suggest black), then the Barbacoa Beef, Chipotle Chicken or Chile Verde Pork, has rice of course, then load it up with veggies. I recommend Pico de Gallo with Guacamole and sour cream, gotta have lettuce too... Overall.. A great place to come and get a meal made out of the ordinary. Prepared fresh right in front of you as you order... It is like Subway, yet southwestern style and with a little more comfort... In the sense, they won't make you feel stupid by not knowing what to order on your first time in... From my experience, they are quite friendly and always try to help answer anyones questions they might have about the food and prep. I would recommend this place for anybody looking for a good variety of spanish fare for sit down or take out. Food has great flavor, is very filling for the price, and always have a friendly staff on board... Thank you for some very good Sopas, Tacos and of course, your Jumbo Burrito, thank you... Hope...

I am just a simple man, but I hope my review does Jumbo Burrito justice. This food is not just great, it is beyond that, it is AMAZING. It will surpass all your expectations and change your life. The ingredients are fresher than Ice Cube in the 90's, and will transport you instantly to FlavorTown. I'm surprised Guy Fieri has not been here. From the moment you walk in, your nose will be greeted by the many enticing aromas, and they will greet your nose like a warm, gentle hug from your grandma. The kind staff will greet you like your an old familiar friend, and you will know, just then that you made the right choice and your stomach, mind, and soul will thank you for choosing Jumbo Burrito. This place is not a Subway, you will actually remember this experience, and they will make you wonder why you ever went anywhere else. The staff is ready to prepare the food at your order, and they will execute Mexican cuisine perfection with more grace than the world's best ballerina. They have so many delicious ingredients... you feel like a kid at a candy store except the candy is hot n sizzling carne asada, chicken, al pastor or many other hearty, healthier and more filling, and more addicting ingredients. And if you don't eat meat... dont worry they have a ton of non-meat ingrediants. The burritos are a bountiful river of flavors that get along better than your family at a thanksgiving dinner. The salsa is the right amount of Chuck Norris kick, while also being the right amount of nurturing motherly love. The first bite will have you in a trance. Your taste buds will dance and rejoice as they reach Nirvana. The food from here is the equivalent to Disney Land but for your taste buds. You will not be able to help yourself and even when you get full, you will regret not having a larger stomach to take a few more bites of the goodness. The portions are large, you will get your money's worth. Become a believer and try Jumbo Burrito and you will understand that I was not...

Let me start this review off by saying that I drive 3, almost 4 hours just to get food from this place. I’m a dedicated Jumbo Burrito fan. If I lived any closer, I would eat from here every single day, like… I’m not even kidding. 🤪 There is nothing else that compares to this place. If you are reading this review because you haven’t been to Jumbo Burrito yet - and if you also have another burrito joint that you currently enjoy - just know that once you come to JB, you will never want to go back to that other place. You’ll have dreams about JB and will HAVE to come back lol. Jumbo Burrito is hands down the best place to get a burrito. Ok so PORTIONS!!! Omg these things are MASSIVE. Like, a self defense weapon. I could EASILY knock somebody out cold with a burrito from here. I usually get 6 of their burritos each time I go and by the time I make it from the door to my vehicle my arm is already asleep. Their salsa/hot sauce is phenomenal and the little salsa bar is genius if you like to mix them like me.

The women here are beautiful inside and out and treat you like family. Especially Brenda and her sister Lupe. I can’t forget the bro, he’s dope and charming too! They all have great memory and remember me each time I go in even when it can be up to 6+ months between visits 😳 Each time my ex or I make the trip out to Oak Harbor (we make sure it’s not on a Sunday or Monday JUST for JB) we HAVE to stop here. JB is pretty much the only thing that keeps us getting along at this point because we get each other burritos every time we stop by here. 🤣 This place has changed my judgement on any other burrito I have had in the past and will have going forward. Nothing compares to jumbo burritos food and atmosphere. I tell everyone about this place and to check it out. 10000/10 you’ll never find a better...
