If I could, I would give negative stars. I went in last Saturday looking for shells. When I walked in there were two elderly people behind the counter, a man and a woman. The man was drinking a soda and let out a huge burp, I mean it reverberated off the walls. I laughed and the old woman gave me a death stare. I found the shell I wanted and went to the register. She was standing right there but I had to ask her to ring me up. Then I noticed there was a bin of sand dollars on the lowest shelf in the glass case. I asked her if I could see them. She huffed like I was bothering her. She took out the first one and handed it to me. I asked if I could possibly see the entire bin so I could look through them for a better one. She then said to me in a very nasty tone, they are all like this, nature isn’t perfect. I said I know that, but can I see them. She then proceeded to take something that was in the way out and threw it onto the floor. I looked at her and said never mind, it’s like I’m bothering you. Nice customer service you have. If anything, the old witch should have been mad at the old man for not excusing himself, not me. I will never go back and I will tell anyone I know that is heading there. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Most awful customer service I've ever experienced both times we have came here on vacation but this second time I could not believe. As soon as I laid my stuff on the counter the old woman grabbed my hoodie and almost yelled with others behind me saying don't think this is the price on the tag (which said 50% off which is what the entire store was) but rang up as full price which I said okay and did not even question. I asked if they took debit card and the woman answered yes with horrible attitude and practically slammed the receipt down for me to sign. The old woman and man both were so rude and hateful during the encounter, to the point that I quietly at the counter told her "thank you for being so rude." The old man YELLED back in front of everyone and said "thank you for being so rude." I said nothing else and walked out. After I checked out and was walking out the old woman said "can't fix stupid," right in front of other customers including my sister behind me. My family and I will never stop here again. I have always went to kings since I moved here in 2022. Every time family comes, I take them there. Yesterday, I took some family in there once again to get some beach items and my son had grabbed a squishy ball that was in front of the counter. The old man behind the counter then proceeded to yell at my son, mind you it was his birthday also. When I yelled back at the old man for speaking to him that way, then his terrible wife decided to join in. These people are terrible!!! Before the yelling even happened, they gave us the most terrible death stares just for looking at things in the store. If you’re that miserable and hate your life so bad, hang it up and retire already. Terrible people! My daughter even had a bunch of things to purchase, she put everything back. We won’t be back and we don’t recommend this store to anyone with kids!!! Or anyone for that matter because those 2 old people who run it, get angry when people look around and...
